AWP isn't a noob cannon unless you sit in a corner and wait for someone to walk into the crosshair.

The auto-sniper is a proper noob cannon.

I don't pretend to be any good with that gun (or any gun really) but there is quite an art to using it effectively. It's very impressive when you see someone using it aggressively.

I saw someone hit the best shots ever with the AWP a few matches back. Was properly impressed.
 
It's annoying when you have the endgame AWPers who use TeamSpeak as a way of knowing where the enemies are before said enemy has a chance to fire back.

Couple this with the instakill AWP and it gets really frustrating, especially in casual where there isn't any point in cheating IMHO

No. See they regard killing someone with a knife as incredibly skillful. However most people regard the P90 as a noob weapon. Killing them with a P90 gives them that extra bit of rage at being killed over and over by a "noob".

The knife humiliates him, but the P90 gets him angry and getting angry makes him do stupid things and rage at you in the chat :D. Now THAT is satisfying.

Last night I played with a mates who were Nova3, MG2 and Nova1. We were paired against teams where the highest rank was nova2. They thought we were smurfing and cheating until they finally saw the ranks. Watching them rage was hilarious.

and then you do it again next round, and the round after that, and after that... eventually he is calling you a p**s in chat and raging at his teammates. Then you win and tell him he made the game EZ for you and he has an aneurysm :D

This is what happened last night except replace the P90 with a P250. The guy was so angry. :D

The P90 is actually very accurate if you know how to play with it. I can run and gun with it no problem. Just aim at the feet and go full retard while running.
Amazing rush weapon.

I have switched to the MP7, only now and then when the economy is strong when I will consider the P90. I have become so used to the Five-SeveN that I hardly ever buy the cheaper SMG varieties, except the UMP-45 which is the poor man’s AK47. Once you hit the higher ranks, weapons like the PP-Bizon are useless against experienced players with armour and an accurate and quick aim.

I am back at MG2, still a long way to go to get back to LEM :(
