CSGO Sticky thread

^They mainly use TeamSpeak from what I have gathered. Spectated games have a delay between what is happening and what spectators see AFAIK so it's no use really

I only found out there is a two round delay on Sunday and already forgot about it by Wednesday.
 
It's so lekker when the guys talk during games. Not just tactically (which does help, instead of everyone heading off on their own mission) but also the banter afterwards. But there are days I try and rile up the guys but then nobody wants to bite.

I must be a bad leader :(

Yep, highly possible. Last week the servers had many Americans on the servers due to some odd DNS issue somewhere. Yah, you will see Europeans. We do have Namibians and other neighbouring countries on our servers, also many players based in Mauritius.

Since Prime we have less hackers in comps, it is only that many still gets away with hacking. You get hackers which are very discreet and then you get those which really pushes the boundary. There are many more hackers in casual games than in comps. But yah, playing comps, get ranked up, the higher the less you will deal with cheaters.
 
I've never spectated anyone on my friends list because somehow I thought it would maybe affect them having to upload data to me or something.

Now that I know it's a server side thing I'm going to spectate more people playing comp.

lol, it's not much anyways, the whole game file is ~60Mb. But it's multicast from steam

Nah, more FPS, more Hz, all set. Oh, and a decent optical mouse and mechanical keyboard. My reaction time tends to be better on 22-24" monitors.

The connection can go crap on any side. I'm always suspicious about the Mweb gaming servers as they tend to contribute to the loss that I have experienced.

Mid game yesterday my right mouse button failed. So I was running around no-scoping till I found a team mate willing to exchange guns. We won the game but my mouse needs replacing now... sigh :cry:

lol!!! i had the same issue with my old mouse, except it was my left click.... i would have to frantically left and right click until left click came right! lol its like the left click forgot that it actually was a left click

Get a Steelseries Rival. The 300 will be a nice replacement. The new Logitech opticals are also good. I really do not know why so many people are pro Razor Blackadder. You can always get a Zowie at a massive price in SA. But, yah, the Rival in my opinion is the best CSGO mouse, or a Zowie...

I play with a Logitech G300. Just feels better to me. If the mouse is too big, I struggle.
