Most of us (Friend group) has given up on competitive CS. We might play a game in two weeks and get pissed off again and stop for another two weeks. The amount of new "Uhum smurf" accounts in casual is a giveaway on the state of CSGO. I know of a certain individual (5000 hour and 10 year medal) that started cheating HARD mid last year and he bypasses overwatch or so he says (No longer friends on steam). VAC is not catching him either. I guess all the new smurfs got global already on their main accounts?
I am currently playing casual dust 2 which is reasonably free of hackers, after 10pm is always relatively quite on the hacker front on other map pools. I am still devising/practicing a play strategy against the walls and aim, as those players generally have a particular favorite spot or style. Been trying a more aggressive rush tactic which with some mixed results, early smokes and mollies in some spots seem to do the trick, takes a round or two to figure out their positions, if you can catch them off guard they are pretty much useless, I have seen some of the guys play without cheats getting owned, because they have played with cheats for so long they don't know how to play any other way.
Been playing CSgo for almost 10 years, never had the urge or desire to cheat, I am a decent player, usually end up with the most assists and utility damage, do pick up bad habits now and then and been practicing a lot on more on aggressive rushing on some maps.
I don't mind smurfs. Smurfs I can play against. Its blatant cheaters and people with ego issues. I haven't played recently, people shouting "You are suppose to do this" isn't my kind of thing. Its a game. Have some fun. People need to stop being toxic when **** doesn't go their way. Ruins the experience for everyone.
Teams rarely if ever kicks the offending player, I don't get salty or annoyed nor call out the person, I simply wait out the round get my experience points and move on. The most satisfying thing however is when they rage quit, had two cheaters rage quit after getting rewarded with a shotty in the face a few times yesterday, mag 7 in the face you ain't walking away from that, takes a round or two to figure out their defense and play, they rarely if ever rotate on the maps between rounds, same spots and angles they are pretty predictable. People that wall always choose the same angles and cover spots, why do you need more defensive cover if you can see where the player is ?
Not sure what you get out of cheating, but whatever floats your boat, I am just looking for a good time,
