The mute option works wonders.
 
I played my second and third comp matches tonight. The first one we failed miserably on as the leader of the other team was a bit...suspect. Him headshotting me around a corner with an awp while facing the wrong way was a bit odd and the other guys on my team noticed similar behaviour. He was also leading with 20+ kills, so he got himself reported.

The second match was really close but we had some nice fellas in the team and managed to snatch the win (unlike the first match which was reminiscent of the SA vs Japan WRC game) from them.

Much less rage in comp but I did get called a p**s and a c**t for using an AUG :D
 
^ can't say I've ever heard that word uttered (yet) but they phase me not in the slightest. There are a few billion people on the planet and I am not going to let one ruin my day ;)

I've once had some of the other team members try vote me off the match because they suspected I was hacking, that made me feel quite warm and fuzzy inside :D



But yeah, not a lekker feeling when someone starts hurling insults for no good reason. At the end of the day (and I have to remind myself constantly) it's just a game for the majority of people, there are bigger things to worry about out there

I've been called all of it. By enemies and team mates.
 
One of my favourite things, if not my favourite, is when someone calls you a hacker and you hear him being real angry about it, you check the scoreboard and he is something like 7/18 K/D with bots doing better.
 
I was accused of hacking for the very first time in probably 10 years of playing. Actually put a smile on my face :D
 
It's times like these I come to appreciate my 20Mbps line, I didn't even think of it, the update was almost 80% done before I realised something was downloading.

Also didn't notice...cos it happened at 3am this morning :)

PC is always on and the WISP connection is always on.
