Pending on the map and your positioning this may change player behaviour here and there.

I had a quick test now... still the same in my opinion, though I need to play competitive to test the waters. Casual play show very little when it comes to my own user experience. Many people running around with the R8 currently… many shooting like schit to be honest.
 
I had a moment now to test the R8 Revolver, it is pretty accurate and more so than the Deagle in my opinion. I suck at Juan Deag (The One Deag) where I’m easily picking 3 kill-shots in a row with the R8. The slow shooting has no impact at all when the stopping power is this insane.

Those which are going all Mexican with the R8 is spamming though… I didn’t experience the ‘huge’ inaccuracy when right-clicking as stated by many other players online. What I didn’t do with the R8 was run-and-gun and rapid ‘right-click’ shooting with which casual/deathmatch is littered with at the moment.

I will stick with the Tec-9 and Five-Seven, thanks.

Did we maybe play together now? I won something like 7 deatmatches in a row.
 
The thing I learned today is most players need the spray of a rifle.
 
The R8 hasn't totally dominated Comp thankfully.
There was a fair bit of R8 use but if you're good enough you don't battle too much.
It is however stupidly op.

Pocket scout with the right click more powerful than a mag7.

It has 100% accuracy while running and left clicking.

I'll just skip CSGO for a few weeks till the hype has died down.

It's really not that big of a deal imo.
If you can shoot properly it is a minor annoyance.
I actually find people are now using the R8 as a crutch and use it more than they should.
Breaching sites can be easier if you shoot well.

As a regular casual "scrub" player the new R8 revolver doesn't seem OP at all. Because of the long shot delay, it seems you can do a bit of CSGO shuffle'n and burst an enemy down before the shot even fires.

But, and this is a big but, if you are blessed with CS Dust Offensive Super Powers which scrubs like me don't possess, and can somehow track a running/strafing/shuffle'n enemy whilst the shot is loading and have your sight lined up at the exact moment the shot goes off... there will be a lot of the ol' one shot killin' to be had.

With my inferior abilities, I'll stick to the mighty Deagle and some Tec9 spraying once in a while.

On another note, in my 5 experimental games last night I did experience a lot of SEE ENEMY WITH AK47 - ONE SHOT (not mine) - DEAD (me). It might be coincidence, or the AK is the real OP that stood up, when all are distracted by the R8 :erm:
