CSGO Sticky thread

Last night my one match went horible. Managed to rank up though. Next rank: Gold Nova 1.

8.8.8.8 is Google's DNS server, 9ms to that means nothing.

My ping last night was 5-30ms, but my loss reached 80% at times. I was not the only player experiencing this as everyone complained. Four comps wasted, reported each and every server.

Nooo, mweb servers are k@k. I lag with 1ms ping

Pinging 8.8.8.8 with 32 bytes of data:

Yup, last night my in game ping was between 40 - 60 ms most of the time.

You are better off going low. It may feel weird at first, but you get used to it. I used to use high dpi but I found my aim was shocking especially if I panic.

Go down a bit at a time.

When I was demoted to Nova 3 due to my long absence it was quite noticeable how many players on that level aim downwards. I think this is why 'COD' guns is so popular on the Silver/Nova level, it is only when they scope when they 'correct' their aim. Newbies need to learn aim and spray control, and decide on whether they are tap, burst or spray shooters, spray being a method every player needs to know, but one can really only master tap or burst.

It blows my mind how the first guy doesn't say "behind us".

Surely they must be silver? Is it safe to assume you guys won?
