CSGO Sticky thread

Hmm interesting video and actually explains something. Was playing last night with your_mom (Steam name, not a troll) and was being killed through smoke, doors etc. Obvious cheating.

Then in a later game, we were being absolutely nailed. One guy (Purchase) was headshot killing everyone with a shotgun, often from range, and various other things.

It just gets to the point where there is no fun left because you don't stand a chance. Throw smoke and incendiary and then get killed by a headshot as you Shift-walk around the corner? Meh, dial me out at that point.
The thing is, if someone is convicted of cheating, who ever played with them will have have a nice derank on the way. Doesn't help though, as the cheater already ruined the game for everyone else.

Yea that's the thing, it's the fun factor. I'm not a Pro and don't play with the intention of becoming Global or anything, I just want to have fun, which I typically do.

Anyway, will continue playing but will use my reporting system liberally when warranted.

Wait for the urge to play ESEA...

Pending on which hack is being used, most hacks are loaded externally. Steam do not scan outside its steam directory. There is a privacy issue here, which many anti-cheats violate at times. There was even a hacker once which loaded his hack into his peripheral’s memory. Then others which bypassed the anti-cheat algorithms by pushing hacks through the Steam Workshop, the method which many pro players used.

I personally do not think that Valve cares much about hackers, they generate an income through hackers. Valve already has their heads up in the whole gambling issue.

All that I am saying is, it will never go away. Cheaters will never acknowledge that they cheat, that is until they are caught. I know about one consistent hacker, he is still there and it has been months now.

I’m going to put this out there, not everyone is a hacker. There are players which are excelling at this game. I have seen pro’s play; their reaction times and game senses are godlike. You hardly take notice when they have already reacted.

Then there are perspective and angles, watch Warowl’s tutorial on this,

Smoke, smoke is made to be sprayed at. Nothing like hearing the anti-prefire crowd cry.

No you don't understand. The guy I played against was a hacker. There were instances in the game where people were shift-walking and he would pre-aim them through the wall before peeking. At one point he pre-fired me because he thought I was going to step out when I was really just stepping behind a box near the corner. He could obviously see us through the walls.

I agree some people have such a massive skill gap that the player they're playing against thinks they're hacking when they're really just good. However sometimes they're hacking and it is obvious. I'll upload videos showing it.

Every map has common pre-fire spots. Long on Dust 2 for example has that AWP corner. Pre-fire there, and you are basically going to get a kill. Sometimes it is easy to see a rush coming, other times not at all.

porchrat said in a previous post earlier in the week they watched the demo footage and the person was following through walls not just hitting the prefire spots.

I get that and I know some guys are just way better than I am, and know the maps better. But being headshot through a door, in a cloud of smoke, is not skill. Them's hacks.

I've done this a number of times with nothing more than a bit of game sense and a helluva lot of luck, particularly on Dust2 (doors down mid sniping as T), Mirage (Through connector looking towards A) and Inferno (as T taking direct route to B, noob CTs love to smoke and hide behind the wall or that thin board, easy pickings). Granted if it happens repeatedly then it may be a sign of HAX.

I have been called a hacker so many times for hitting people through CT crossing long to A site behind a smoke. What they don't know is if the smoke is not 100% perfect, you can see them cross and just bang at the right time. Pretty easily :o

C'mon, just admit it you're a haxor :D

I can't remember if I asked this back when I started playing, what's the best drop you've personally seen in game or received yourself?

I know that bit, chop...I don't know what skins are valuable and which aren't. That whole side of the game is something I don't pay attention to.

I wanted to check if you have any hidden gems, inventory is set to private.

Th valuable stuff is ultra rare, odds are you won't get it as in game drops at all.

Will change it later after the soccer...what do I need to do? I have a lot of unopened cases...gave some to Stillie but the rest I have no use for.

I wish there was an to bulk sell/auction them at 10-15% below market price.
