I feel like this would cause unnecessary input lag.

Tried it now and there is a tiny bit of latency somewhere...it's not huge but it it noticeable.

Other than that, my frame rate came down a bit but not a lot (260-ish on average versus 280-ish). I'll try it again and look at CPU usage to see what kind of diff it makes though that's not enough of an attraction. CPU's were made to work

CS isn't about graphics. CS is about the game play, the competitive element, team work, epic plays, skins, friendly banter during a casual game etc.

I don't know of anybody that brought it for the gfx, atmospheric soundtrack or marketing hype. It runs on simple hardware which allows a lot of people to play it. Shiny gfx don't make a game. If you don't like it feckoff and go play cod

I totally agree with you, that;s why I play CS and not the other games, as you've probably noticed.

However, if we could have all of those things,l plus better GFC, why not? Remember when CS: Source was first released? Sure there were issues to fix, but aesthetically, it saved CS from demise IMO. It looked so dated. As it does now. Still extremely fun, but it could look good and be fun too. That's all I'm saying.
