Not bad, but this is CSGO. Whole different ball game. Best advice I can give you is to use Voice_Enable 0 on public servers, and Voice_Enable 1 on Comps and private servers. Sometimes the chat is good, other days it really isn't that good at all.

I don't recommend that, I have very little issues with people using voice chat, I just mute people individually instead of muting everyone outright.

Also if we are waving CSS stuff around I think I was ranked 14th or 24th, something under 30th back on the SAIX/SGS servers.
 
I'm getting very schite pings (TI) tonight, simply unplayable. By the time I spawn I'm dead.

Unbarable probably. Might want to use net graph to see your actual ping. I use net graph to see my actual ping at a given time. Pure bliss. No need to press tab.

I didn't have an issue but the weird thing is we had probably four guys with over 100ms ping and they spoke in a French accent, but other than that the rest of us had normal ping.

I don’t think that you are doing anything wrong, Steam is turned upside down now and then. Logout and login again…

I wanted to play a bit tonight, but I took a little break to recuperate. The last thing that I want is to return on a 'high' only to have an inconsistent game which will only bring me down again. Ping is nothing, it is that loss % stalking me nowadays. 1% loss is okay… once it hits 2% and bounces up and down it is the most horrible experience you will ever have. I had to be happy with 5-9% loss lately and that destroyed me.

I played better on the European servers with ~160ms ping and 0% loss than locally with ~15ms ping and 2% loss. It is also not me, everyone which is on Mweb in my vicinity have this issue on certain servers. It is time to change, going Vox soon, because Mweb do not have a solution. Fibre and VDSL is still miles away… so yah. I do have my AH account, maybe I should cap it up a bit.

I really want to know why we have loss to our local servers... is the Seacom break the issue, and why?

I must be getting the hang of the new sensitivity...2 okes were raging at me constantly in casual last night. One of them was really good as well so not sure what his issue was...I expect the better players to be used to coming across someone having a good round and not rage.
