Also works wonders against unarmored players.
The FAMAS is bad. I'll rather just get a Negev and hold the mouse button. Far more accurate. If I have to force buy, I'd rather get a UMP or Mac 10.

Players with an M4A1-S has three kills before reloading, pending on the situation they need to know how to quickly switch to pistol. M4A4 is better used to spray, and spray smoke, and pre-fire.
Yours is probably 20/40, right? That's the M4A1-S - the silenced version. More accurate, less bullets.

Those struggling to get to know recoil to do tap shots, down spray (ignoring the patterns), burst, etc. Use these two cross hair commands,
cl_crosshairstyle 3 will take you movement and weapon into consideration. Do this, and then move to,
cl_crosshairstyle 5 will only take your weapon into consideration.
Once you trust that you can play without these cross hair modes, the game starts to smell like your oyster. Oh, and please stop aiming down, there is no pickups.

My first time in more than a year getting a drop worth more than R1.
I'm better with the AWP than the rifles. Thing is, there is only a bit of space for an AWP, most of the time someone else buys an AWP, then I go for an M4 or AK47. The type of M4 depends on the account I use, and also on whether or not I have remembered to equip the none Silenced M4 again.

I am a real noob in CS:GO. Only played once with real people in casual so far.
Just a few questions - how do good players feel about noobs joining them? I would rather not pss people off.
Are there maps I should play on that will help me improve or where noobs usually go?

You will never build confidence if you ignore human encounter. There are a couple of aim maps available on the Steam Workshop. There is no best weapon, all weapons are unique, and situational, however some weapons are more refined than others.
Ignore trolls.
Ignore toxicity.

Thanks - yes already found bots easier than people. I shall look for the aim maps - I need it. Do get kills but it is the concept that even if I cannot see them - they can see me that I am still learning.

Lol when they started using my account they were kinda young for their own ones - and now they don't want to because I have all the games.

If you decide to play competitive, get your own account . MG isn't easy. Those peeps are difficult to play against.

I would definitely have to. She likes to awp and I like the SMGs. I think it will confuse people with us playing on the same account but she doesn't think so.

Well, like genisys points out, you're going to find yourself matched against really stiff competition. I haven't even started playing competitive yet so I'm totally unranked, still just enjoying Death Match (the Dust 2 map is the best) and Arms Race casual modes.
I reckon you're going to have to create a new personal Steam account so you can rank up for yourself.
