I have no idea why I didn't think of limiting the power usage.

Side note, even with the Eco mode clock speeds and 30% power limit the card is 25FPS faster in the Superposition benchmark, when I have the new PSU and I can set it to OC mode it will probably be around 40FPS faster.

No need to tell you though, you have a handful of GTX 1070's. :whistle:

2 up tonight, well played Prod, good on the re-smoke, intuition and teamwork carrying through. I apologise being irritated, when making calls and some players start to do their own thing even when the team has the momentum gets to me. Can win those games 15-0, but no. Comp players hunting kills… Nonetheless, good playing with you mate.

The guru3d review is correct BUT it's measured at full OC if I'm not mistaken.

Core i7-5960X + 1070 g1 gaming seems to have a total system power draw of 250W, http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/78...70-g1-gaming-graphics-card-review/index9.html

OC it and you gonna draw an additional 20-25W ;)

Your PSU still seems dodge though as it should be able the full load.

Antec VP700P already ordered, at least then I can even run it in OC mode and I'll be ready for whenever I buy a i7 K.

Pascal is not the greatest overclocker, that said once you get another psu you will get a 10% boost over your stock clock performance when overclocking.

It's currently -200MHz and -20% power.

Once I get the normal stable clocks I'm going to be very happy.

Pascal is weird with turbo boost 3, if you can get a constant 2.1GHz it would be good, 2.2GHz would be a miracle.

I preferred Maxwell's turbo boost 2, on this one benchmark site my 960 got the second highest oc in the world:D

Cool stuff...was nice to get some games in after awhile.

ZoHaN is getting back into the groove...his aim is very, very good.

Yah, I told you that he is better than I am. You should see our other 3 teammates, all which went pro though. ZoHaN likes tagging along when you are game, he stopped playing as he dislikes the solo thing and everyone else are back into WoW.

I need to practice my aim again :cry:
 
Hi Guys, I am back in the nova pool. All these comp games on new maps as well as weapons expert has knocked me down to Nova 4

When the servers went down I managed to go from MGE to MG1 :-/
Only just made it back to MG2 now.

Nice to hear some people like playing with me :p

That Le Crmnl has asked me to play a few times but I was busy with other stuff. He's decent...easy to play with.
 
i feel like playing CSGO tonight but i have the feeling its going to be way to cold tonight........... sad panda
