CSGO Sticky thread

It's a ton of fun. One of the many reasons I wish I stayed in Europe. They aren't scared of a little rescue mission. It's the same as bomb plant, roles are just reversed.

I play them for laughs but then I treat it like deathmatch. Usually end up dying early and spending an eternity watching T's sit in a house while CT's creeps around.

Super-exciting.

^, won 1 out of 5 last night

I loved it, except the 1st match. We were outmatched, 2 x SUP, 2 x LEM and 1 x LE is not a winnable game when the match is dodgy without an team to back up any momentum. The match we won on Overpass, well, too easy and I was strolling through it casually. The other matches, hard battles. To win games now the team needs to have structure, too loose on how play.

Structure? I was going to turn to prayer and ritual sacrifice :crylaugh:

Ja, Overpass was a doddle...the rest was a bad dream.

You mean by acquiring an alt account?

Lol...I'm too lazy to manage multiple accounts.

I have time tonight for one game between 7-8...then have to go for drinks \ braai at a buddy's place. If anybody wants to comp, lemme know.

I'm out this weekend, spending time with my son and I have some work to catch up with.

I am also exploring my options on mice with 3360 sensors’. It is not that my M65 is bad, but the laser tracking is too inaccurate now that I’m playing against higher ranked players which all seem to have Spiderman senses, and that the sniper button is the ****tiest addition to any mice.

If you and ZoHaN want to spend some quality time together, it's cool...no need for smoke grenades :p

Get a G403 then we can be mouse brethren...the Logitech exclusive pwm3366 is essentially a branded 3360.

You only bought the G403 because it’s called Prodigy :p ZoHaN has one as well ;)

I can't lie...it's what got my attention

ZoHaN has good taste.

So… I wanted to buy an Deathadder Elite, custom 3360, but then I did my research. Been looking at the Zowie FK1/2 all day… damn, next week Friday I am buying one. Just need to try them out to test them in my hand as the FK2 is a small mouse compared to the FK1.

I never liked Razor products anyway, except maybe their mouse pads, and they and Cougar have the best bungees. I also got a Cougar Revenger, which has an 3360, but the mouse is on the heavy side.

BenQ, here I come. Then again, I will probably end up with the Razer.

Indecision. Prod, pick one, BenQ or Razer?

For me death adder elite is the one. Had one now for 6 months and it's nothing short of amazing (for me).

Zowie EC-1A all the way, best mouse I ever owned

Yoh, you have big hands. I am 1.86, but my hands are medium in size when it comes to mice. Fingertip and claw grip is where I am at. My hand’s measurement is 19cm, and according to most ‘mice experts’ the EC1-A is most suited to 19.5cm. Though I am right-handed I’m more suited with mice in ambidextrous design. My only qualm with the FK1/1+/2 is the side buttons on both sides, it is going to bother me endlessly. So, yah, the EC1-A and EC2-A is under this consideration a better alternative. I don’t like the ZA12 or the Z13 as it resolves non-issues the FK-series apparently had in my opinion.

Zowie is probably my best option, it is a hot plug mouse with all settings on-board, no additional programs. This mouse does not know latency.

I looked at the EC1-A because it's pretty much the same bracket as the G403 (price, design, features - all pretty similar). I like simplicity so both those mice are right up my street.

What swung the G403 for me was the newer sensor (and yes, the name :)).

Not a fan of Razer stuff...tried one of their mice many years ago and wasn't impressed with the quality so I never went back.

Razer is all in the name, it is driven by marketing. SteelSeries as well, but these companies do have superb products. Talking Razer, it has some build quality issues, however the Deathadder is the most popular gaming mouse and it is valued by a large gaming community, mainly due to a working recipe. Razer’s biggest Achilles’ heel is their driver app which is buggy.

Zowie, well, it is not an everyday mouse, it is a gaming workhorse. It is a well build product, however it comes at a price. There is no bells or whistles attached to this, you plug it in and play. BenQ needs to work on their pricing strategy, their mouse bungee is bloody expensive.

I also had a look at the Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye, it is an impressive expensive mouse. The military version is a good alternative, but I read that the 3310 sensor in it is loose and may tilt out during gaming.

My options currently are between,

1) Zowie EC2-A
2) Razer Blackadder Elite
3) Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye

Or,

4) Zowie FK2
5) CM MasterMouse S

It is going to be a hard week, but I will need to import 3 or 5 pending on my choice and availability. Many believe the MasterMouse S is the best gaming peripheral ever made by CM. I will take the Kone Pure Owl-Eye over the Blackadder Elite, it is only the import-rma issue that I may experience.

I have recently acquired a Cougar Revenger, and it is a bloody good mouse and alternative to the Steelseries Rival 100, but the Rival 100 is better weighted. People who like heavy mice, the Revenger at its price is awesome. I got it because it was the cheapest mouse with a 3360 sensor at the time.

A Zowie EC3 is rumoured to be on the way...

Also 1.86,but have plates for hands, 20.5cm,if I palm grip I can almost touch the mousepad in the front :D

So, I tried out the Blackadder Elite… Wow, though it is very much the same as the Chroma, but I know the 2013 and these are better in every way. I can see why so many people love the mouse. I know the G403 Prodigy, and I can relate why many say this is the new king. I am yet to try out the Zowie’s and I don’t want the G403 due to every gamer in my vicinity that I know having one.

I have watched many reviews, but this guy, Zy, knows his peripherals,

That's how much I'm going to be laughing as I headshot you with my G403.

Agree re rocketjumpninja - his website is a great resource.

Imagine my great mirth when I get the rare shot in on one of you with my Logitech no-name generic mouse that I bought from Incredible Connection. I should totally get bonus XP for that.
