Won't any gun get you flagged as a Noob? AWP isn't a noob gun, actually very difficult to use properly.

Bruh...you sound noob-ish :p

The AWP is powerful in comp...it's the one weapon that makes untradeable kills possible. The other guns you're generally taking on someone in a duel with an even chance of getting killed or getting the kill.

On the skill side, I'd like to see someone without skill use an AWP effectively on Mirage with a full smoke and molly execute happening. It's not easy at all.

Many times in a comp where the team getting fukked buy 2/3 AWPs and then just proceed to rek and win, AWP is easy, all you need is some decent hand and eye coordination.

I disagree.

90% of awp kills come off flicks. If you want to just point and shoot you will NEVER hit anyone you will get picked off first or be to slow to hit the player. I think the least skill weapon is the P90. The rest are pretty damn hard to master :o

That being said. I can't shoot with a shot gun. I miss close shots only gwd knows how... But that is one tree I can't master :D :D :D

If this logic held up then most comps would have 3 awps most of the time since once you're wrecking the other team you can continually afford that.

I'd say the AWP is definitely one of the most skillful guns.

If that happens, it's because skilled Awpers haven't been able to buy effectively due to team losses. Once they build up a good economy you will get farked against a team with even just 1 very skilled Awper.

That AWP pick I made in mid on T-side was a pro play. Not to mention my Friberg moment playing CT on B. Lol, I only got like 2 kills in the 1st 8 rounds, then we went elite.

Will check out the demo - didn't see those live.

I like taking mid and think we should do it more (even sometimes as CT...cue the cries of blasphemy)...makes more things possible. TSM for the win! (not the S part though) :whistle:

I am going to skip on CSGO until I am over this cold. I have like zero concentration since last week and I’m not getting any better. So, yah, don’t expect me to be available. Happy hunting.

Onto a serious note, tomorrow night I'll play for the first time in a while. Should be interesting.

I played 2 games last night with some other dudes (Taxi and Co). Apart from the Afrikaans, was fun. They only queue Dust though.

I also only queue Dust, but want to open up my map pools, I played a comp on cache a while ago, and it was good, despite me not knowing any of the angles or any of the call outs.
 
csgo - wait for 15 minutes for a match, only to be beaten 16-0 by a wallhacker, then join a public lobby, wait 5 minutes only to be kicked at the end of it all , finally get a match , the team is full of derankers..
Install wallhacks to wall-hack the wall-hackers only to get VAC Banned .

Try out Mirage. The layout is pretty much the same.
