CSGO Sticky thread

People I have won with before - but not all the same people in the group. It is hard for me to get a group of regulars as most people don't play as late as I do.

Once I’m back home I’ll join you if you like. I haven’t played in about a week as I’m house sitting and the signal strength is terrible there

I'm actually good at the game, but at 1% - 5% packet loss constantly and having high latency jumping between 60ms to 100ms the whole time makes it difficult to hit easy shots even. @Fulcrum29 and @Cav5034 can confirm I had my moments but for the most part I whiffed easy shots.
I whiffed most easy shots last night.

Its sad, that team was definitely capable of winning a major, only Ska ever won a major sadly
Steel and Dazed, both prodigies of the NA scene.

Shroud is still better than them IMHO, but benched for the most of his time thanks to team culture.

I think team politics forced him towards streaming. Down the line however the run Shrouds team (Shroud, Nothing, Skadoodle, SeanGares and Silent) made at the recent minor qualifier was impressive, they are still very capable of winning. I feel Gares is the most under rated NA IGL at the moment, it sucks that he doesn't have a team to play with.

What do you think about their perma ban?
From majors, they can rot away. Valve, however... there is a bit of corporate bureaucracy at play here. I believe the perma ban had more to do with the act of gambling than the deed of match fixing.

You see, Valve sanction the competitions of these leagues. They cannot be associated with gambling, remember this isn't off-site gambling, those items are linked directly of their marketplace (another player's inventory) through Valve's own API.

Thanks - missed that

Yes, but it more of a legal loophole than a unban, but a unban, yes. ESL updated the tournament rules in accordance with the E-sports Integrity Coalition's new findings of good sportsmanship. The new rules, the punishment of offenders and first-time offenders voided the ban against some offenders, this included the roster of IBUYPOWER and Epsilon.

They are still banned from 'Valve' events.

Think I need a couple days on alt accounts to get my aim back...
