That self-sense of pessimism won’t win you any games. Maybe all of the MyBroadband CSGO regulars must engage each other tomorrow night in a 1v1 match, the winner has the privilege of solely picking purple for his colour of choice.

I see Corsair made an attempt at their first proper FPS mouse, the Corsair Ironclaw RGB. Custom precision optical sensor from PixArt offering a native 18,000 DPI. OMRON switches... I don’t really like OMRON’s on mice after I played with my ASUS ROG BRICK aka SPATHA.


Nonetheless, waiting on RJN’s review.
 
Took out one of my alt accounts for a quick spin, low and behold my fun internet connection

It hovers around 40% at the moment, pointless trying to play till my connection is fixed.

I always let the lady of the team take purple... but if you want to 1v1 I'd be happy to play

I managed to break my game tonight. Trained on two aim maps, Recoil Master and Aim Botz, but when I exited the game still inherited the in-map mods. Quickly noticed it in casual, went about to reset it by restarting Steam and now I am experiencing recoil lag. Don’t know, don’t ask.

Done the repairs, but this is terribly annoying. Perhaps it is random, bad timing connectivity wise. Not cool.
 
Changed my cl_interp_ratio back and forth, seems to be more stable at 2. Strangely I have no choke or loss, and it only happened after I practised on Workshop maps and noticed changes I made in those within public servers.

Strangely, I can spam my knife without interruption, but can barely shoot more than 5 bullets without experiencing an interruption.

Playing with default rates now.

Since the launch of CS:GO Danger Zone and, more importantly, CS:GO going free-to-play, the game hit record high numbers. According to Nors3 on Twitter, CS:GO hit its highest amount of players ever in December with over 20.5 million unique players.

While no cost means many new players can get the game, it also means hackers and cheaters will find it easier than ever to make new accounts.

SteamDB shows that Valve made a record 609,382 VAC Bans in December.

My daughter has suggested that I start a new account and get prime and then comp and see where it places me. I reckon I will not be placed much better than I am now. What do you guys think?

Take it from me, I have about 8 or 9 accounts that is all prime, playing CSGO on a new account will allow you to rank up, but by two ranks at most. I gave up trying to see if I can get a better rank on my secondary accounts as its easier to just keep on playing on my main account. Its a nice way to warm up however as the rank on a secondary account doesn't mean anything.
 
Just played a game on my alt account. First round I get one taps for days. Next few rounds they just play corners that doesn't exist and prefire for days. The MM experience is absolutely crap and littered.
 
Steam servers for SA seems to be down at the moment. I only get European matches with 200 ping.
 
Tried too get into this across the holiday, geez the pace is something to get used to, having not played any Fps games in years. Faired well against the bots, though probably because they were only armed with what seems to be snowballs.
