CSGO Sticky thread

I always say that rank does not matter once you have been playing the game long enough or you have attained the rank previously. But my definition of good is being able to easily hold your own at supreme and GE level

Other advice would be to play as many MM games as possible and not care about your rank. Do not chase for rank and get experience playing games, learn habits of enemies etc. Do not rage during games, it really effects the morale of the team. If you do have a rager within your team, try your best to calm the situation make the person less "edgy". Other than that, don't do anything for the sake of doing it, think about what you do before you do it and communicate clearly with your teamies.

One of the guys I play with frequently shoots his teammates in various parts of the body, accidentally, whilst playing the sounds of dogs barking in the background. Any advice?

Well, ask him if he can rather pay more attention to when he is shooting, if this happens unintentionally with no malice, there is no need to go off at him. And ask him to decrease the volume on his mic so it does not pick up all of the sounds in the neighbourhood :)

This is good advice. I don’t think it’s intentional I think it’s just that he has a kak mouse and rages sometimes.

To hold you own against, arguably, the top 3-4% of the game you need to play like a Prodigy.
Forget about what you need to play like. Just focus on you and what you can do better. Trying to emulate a certain style/player just puts more pressure on you. Rather, use all the information you receive from your in game mistakes and Pro VODs to improve the aspects of your game that need improving.

He is just ruining it for everyone. Enough is enough. Any advice Ariz04?
Well, if he is your mate, ask him if he can drop some of the bad in game habits. If he can't do that and his in game antics continues to affect your game, you need to let him know that you can't play with him anymore because of it or just find new mates to play with.
