CSGO Sticky thread

I stopped training yonks ago, I am hardly ever warmup nowadays. Switching between games, on the same day, doesn’t help with the aim, tracking and audio positioning. I still have my game sense, but I get lazy with my map knowledge.

Sounds about right, I went just spectating last night at random okes, might be because of the matches I was in but I got the distinct impression that the quicker and more accurate draw didn't play as much of a factor as it should, looked like there are massive imbalances in skill plus you die just like that, bah half a second and your moertoe.

If he plays the normal servers - you can. I often do
They all play MM servers, I'm the one playing third party servers for the most part, best way to get better is by playing with better players

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.

Depending on eskoms schedule I will try get some cs action in this weekend...
I have plans tomorrow, but maybe tonight and Sunday night.

I need to switch out my mouse in the interim, my issue with the G403 is getting worse by the day. Who knows, maybe the on-board memory of the mouse is failing.

Got my pick-ems! Souvenir sawn-off, here I come!

ENCE, NRG, Avangar and Vitality are through to the main tournament while Grayhound's 0-3 gave me the five needed.

NiP are playing Vega Squadron so no chance of both of those getting through.

Last nights games were fun, wasn't too difficult nor was it easy. I just need to work on my aim, it is a little off at the moment.

Logitech has speedily replied to my RMA. I need to send it back, also provided them with tests with which they determined that warranty support is needed. I went through this route as the issue is very unique but quite common with Logitech mouse using this spring system. I don’t want the retailer to be a dick when I submit an RMA when they themselves cannot determine the issue.

Anyhow, they have given me notice that my product evaluation will be delayed as they are overloaded, right now, and the whole process will take 3+ weeks.

This is why I am done with Logitech, but my G403's fault is way worse than his,

Steelseries and Razor apparently use the same Omron switches. Perhaps I must get myself a Zowie S1 in pink.

Just to make my issue worse, it seems that Logitech doesn’t have G403’s on hand and is now only stocked by their third-party sellers and this also now seems to be the case with Amazon from where I purchased mine. Strangely, I was advised to claim my warranty through Logitech themselves and they responded (snipped):

Based on the information you have provided and the tests performed, we have determined that your product is defective and warranty support is needed. Please contact point of purchase regarding a warranty claim, NOT product return. We recommend that you include a copy of this email to confirm that your product has been found to be defective and warranty replacement needs to be processed. Please do not worry, once you’ve contacted the retailer the warranty process should be quick and painless.

If after contacting the retailer you have additional questions or require further assistance, please get back to us and we will be happy to assist you.

Why Retailer and not Logitech?

1) Retailers have stock on hand and local distributors who are able to get products to you faster, in many cases even the next day.
2) We will need to create replacement order with details like VAT invoice and other. This will have to be evaluated by our warranty department which may delay the whole process for a replacement. Unfortunately, right now we are overloaded and the whole process can take up to 3 weeks.
3) We are an international company with distributors all over the world, however, it is not possible to have them in every location as a local retailer would.

and I have read elsewhere that many G403 replacement returns are replaced with a G703 (which is basically the new wireless G403, but with POWERPLAY) as advised by Logitech so I guess the G403 is low in circulation.

/meh

Okay, so it seems likely that my G403 will be replaced with a G703. At least it is a very good wireless mouse, but the main reason is that Logitech opted to use 50mil click cert. Omron switches in the G703 as opposed to the 20mil click cert. Omron switches in the G403 and the 20mil click cert. Omron's does not always hold up to the quality grade.

I am a bit sad with the Katowice 2019. I am really glad that the better teams made it through and I am very happy to see NiP and G2 squeesing in, but sad to see Fnatic dropping out.

Well done to NRG and Renegades.

I enjoyed playing the pick'ems... haven't tried that before. Got 7/9 (picked Fnatic and Vega Squadron instead of G2 and Renegades).

For the remaining 16 teams...I think NaVi are going home early :p

The only team which I see as odd is AVANGER, the Kazaksthanian team. I would have liked to see Fnatic in their place, but nonetheless, these guys bagged many minors to get to where they are now. I like the underdog.

Just want to see NiP revived. Also, always good to have the French teams up in the top, they know how to clutch against the best. All I know is, the top 16 spots in the Legends phase are going to give you much-desired value and entertainment as they all deserve to be there. I would love to see NiP go up to the top, but my money is on FaZe or MIBR.

Useful callout map.
