CSGO Sticky thread


Laughingstock of CSGO, maybe, but ENCE have some of the best European strategy competitive players. Not to mention to be the first European organisation to win a Starcraft II major. Still, laughingstock is taking it too far, the only laughingstock are those organisations who are suffering from maladministration.

Had a bunch of hacks tonight, 3 guys with some team name pitched up in arms race we've never seen before, things were just way over the top. The short/close/tight maps like shoots & baggage which I hate and perform badly on they tanked on losing those and they sucked on knife.

One guy I play a lot with/against msg me joking he did no know he was that bad in the game asking wtf would anybody use hacks for arms race.
 
I had something really strange happen to me. Was playing casual and doing ok - and then a round started and it was as if noclip was on. Is there something I could have pressed to do that? I exited and restarted CSGO and it was fine after that. What could do that ?

flying, walking through walls. Like you can do with deathcam in casual.

that's not possible to enable intentionally from your side on a Valve server...the server disables that stuff. Assuming you het nie te diep in die bottel gekyk nie vanaand, I'm guessing it was a bug.

Tell that to the people abusing the most recent discovered exploit. Yes, Valve patched the lobby exploit, but I see it still being targeted meaning that something isn't patched properly and is still vulnerable.

Maybe it is a bug or Valve broke the can, but the cheat communities are still going at it.

I do not like the thought that someone changed my perception of the game. That was what I thought at the time after reading about the exploit - but then thought I was being paranoid. I had wrecked these guys in office :ROFL: and then we went to Dust 2 which is not even in the same grouping. We never changed groups - yet ended up on the Dust map. Found that strange too

One thing to remember as well is map knowledge is key in this game. Anyone will mess with me on maps like Office, but bring maps like Dust2, Cache and Overpass and I'll start to shine. We all have a set of maps that we are good at and a set of maps we never play.

Speaking of which, now that Cache is no longer in the active pool I might need to start playing Train, Inferno (I love this map but never play it) and Mirage. If you play 3rd party services you'll likely end up only playing Mirage.

Fulcrum I am an idiot, I forgot to deactivate my VPN and landed on an EU CS server. VPN deactivated now. False alarm.

Also playing from Cape Town on ADSL. Ping usually 40. On LTE its about 32. Cant wait for fibre.

I live in Strand, my quality of connection, only for CS, is messed up. This is also a case with other people living in my vicinity. After some inspection and asking around it was due to an issue in Cape Town. Will check if it is better tonight.

Not very nice to play with an insane amount of loss.
