CSGO Sticky thread

Jeez Liquid dismantled vitality easy peasy. Can't believe they won the grand slam in 4 consecutive events. The individuals are kak good on that team sho.

Bloody Frenchies kept winning pistol and losing the anti-eco. As if Liquid needed any help - Elige has been nuts this year.

They play like you do.... When you planning on joining again? You and beel leaving me with fullcum and djub

Waiting to qualify for the over 65 league

Will probably be around this week - been getting home late and too tired \ cold to play.

It doesn’t look like these players have done much preparation in advance. I mean, you don’t need to be old to check your entry into a site. Either their comms suck, too lazy to check the corners like I do or don’t have enough experience which is my guess.

I see they did aim training; it is observable in the way they react. The issue most is having is the insane mouse sensitivity/DPI they are playing at. Some also tend to pull the mouse downwards towards themselves. The aim is generally okay, better than most I have played with, they practised the headshots which are possibly due to their coaching having them rather being prepared at 1v1 battles than map knowledge.

You can see, the older you get the less reactive you become. Obviously, training will improve this.

Since I don't look at headsets that much anymore I ignored that Logitech launched new headsets. I believe all Kingston HyperX headphones are based on Takstar headphones which they resell as customised headsets. The Cloud II is based on the Takstar Pro 80 and no, it is by no means a cheaper alternative and also not that much available anymore since it is replaced with Pro 82. However, Cooler Master also has new headphones available since the beginning of the year which is based on the Takstar Pro 82.

Takstar 82 on Amazon,

Coolermaster MH751 and MH752 which may be worth the review.

Coolermaster MH751 (Stereo) - R1,064.00

Coolermaster MH752 (7.1 Surround) - R1,277.00

Still a bit expensive, but way less than the HyperX Cloud series.

The reason why I am making this post is that the Logitech G Pro and G Pro X may also be based on the Takstar Pro 82 as some believe. The problem is that they are also too expensive so Cooler Master comes to gaming may be the better choice at ~R 1,000.00. I am looking for an MH751 to test out, but the price should be around R 900 than the R1100 mark.

The Logitech's price will obviously be inflated, for being Logitech's and having Logitech software support. When the Kingston HyperX series released back in the day, it was really affordable.

The Philips SHP9500 (without mic) is also now more affordable, again, at just over $100,

I was considering to order a Takstar Pro 82 headset, but since it isn’t locally available, I don’t want to take any chances.

To be used as gaming only headphones/set it doesn’t look to bad,

$ 127 @ Amazon

Hmmmmm. This just seems better than it's Cooler Master brother. @Neoprod do you believe that the Chinese can make a good hearing aid for CSGO?

New mouse arrived...Zowie FK1. Looking forward to trying out a neutral shape after 4-5 years of Logitech (G400S then a G403 that got flaky just outside warranty ).
