Yea I guess once the cables are fixed it may be okay.Developers said they will but let's wait and see. For the most part I don't see the "normal" EU ping being much of an issue but I'll let you know.

CS:GO ROSTER UPDATE: GOODBYE F0REST
Available in Chinese, Russian
It’s time for us to say goodbye to the last man standing from the original NiP.CSGO lineup. Our friend and long-standing NiP player Patrick “f0rest” Lindberg has decided to continue his career in esports elsewhere and as much as we’re saddened to see him leave, we’re equally optimistic about the upcoming year and what damage our new line-up can inflict.
Another line-up for f0rest to carry...and Friberg is a fat bastardI'd be surprised if they get anywhere.
Which VPN do you recommend?Undersea cables are damaged you nerd![]()
The other guys are much better at the game than I will ever be. But tell him to get the workshop maps, the practice ones. Can provide a list later if you like. He needs get the config one too so that he can set up his program the way he wants to. Practicing movement and headshots is important. My son started E-Gaming as a extra-mural activity. They have to play CS:GO. Any advise for a noob?
My son is fairly good at Fortnite.

Thanks, I'll sit with him over the weekend and have a look at the workshop maps. The other guys are much better at the game than I will ever be. Thanks. He has a fairly decent mouse https://www.evetech.co.za/redragon-...ARENlIioXJLEiU2Ku3MeVfM8Vn4Axy8RoC_GcQAvD_BwEMechanical keyboard, proper optical mouse. These are the essentials. As said by Tribble, workshop maps. Aim is probably the most important skill and merit looked at when picked, 1v1. He needs to be a team player, the IGL is always the leader – not the coach (or analyst).
Watch the pros play, see the settings they use in the positions they are designated to play in. He may also look at Youtubers. Warowl gives casual-competitive advice and Steel gives semi-pro advice, both may give ideas at being a better player at CS,

Your son will need to learn movement skills, and that is where mechanical keyboards are much better used. He needs to learn the sprays, the nades, the callouts, the game economy, etc. but that should all be handled in team training.
The team, together, they all need to watch pro demoes together. The pro players are the players who determine the direction the game is evolving in.
Don’t cheat, cheating turns you an egomaniac prick. Also, this game isn't Fortnite.

Big thing is he mustn't play only with his friends who are a lower rank, he must try find friends a rank or two above him and play with them. Learn from them and watch them play and as he ranks up he must find new friends to play with a rank or two higher...I know it's not all about rank but you learn from those.Thanks. I will start looking around for a mechanical keyboard in a few months time.
They are a team of 5 grade 8 boys. I'll hear from him if anyone plays CS:GO to show him some tips. And I will let him watch the YouTube videos over the weekend.
I'll keep you guys updated with his progress.
You won't find an ESEA match in SA anymore.Big thing is he mustn't play only with his friends who are a lower rank, he must try find friends a rank or two above him and play with them. Maybe consider paying monthly for something like ESEA where they have better Anti Hacking software and 128 tick servers as opposed to 64tick. Also the players on there generally have more knowledge about nades, smokes and mollies, as well as movement.
Can learn a ton from those players.
