CSGO Sticky thread

So... Glorious released a wireless mouse and they stated,

WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY:
LOWEST WIRELESS LATENCY AMONG TOP TIER GAMING MICE
No Lag. Crisp Clicks. No Doubleclicks. O Wireless features lightning fast 2.4 GHz lag-free wireless technology for responsive & precision game-play.

Reach up to 5 meters. Automatically switch between Wired & Wireless modes for maximum reliability and efficiency in any situation.

but they said in their email,

Lowest Wireless Latency In Its Class for lightning-fast responsiveness & precision.

but in what class? I doubt it has better latency than Razer's or Logitech's which pretty much outclasses the competition. Asus and Corsair also have true 1ms latency wireless tech, but their mice are kak. Anyway, reviews will tell the true story.

It is very well priced though... $79.99.

So after playing for a while with no "sure" hackers, tonight it happened.

We had a British guy on our team, 180 ping, fully loaded with skins. Well over 100k worth...

Anyway a claim was made that a guy on opposing team is closet hacking. He was supreme but I had my suspicions.

British guy disconnects to go for a "pee", comes back 3 rounds later and boy oh boy was he not shy to show it. Short of spinning this oak was hitting 100m no scopes and deagle flicks that would break my wrist.

He hacked for 3 rounds, we would have won anyway I reckon with the lead we had. Red trust warnings for a week I'm sure...

@Neoprod is 60, and he can still do it. @Cav5034 does it regularly. I kap it with a Glock or Tec-9, P250 or Seven of Nine because my sights aren't so good for one shots.

On level ground sure, and when you aren't moving your self, not at mixed heights and different heights. Plus you need to wait for the recoil to settle again before you get the accuracy back on a deagle. Managed to get 3 headshots in a row yesterday, with T's coming out lowers on at snipers nest on inferno. But still no 3 bullets 3 head shots.

But I have stopped with the deagle now, as it seems to be people's fav choice in pistol rounds and now go with P250 with less recoil, I can move about and shoot and keep angles move behind cover and shoot again.

Some thing I did different yesterday wasn't exactly team player worthy but I held back a bit and used other players to bait other players and go in for the kill, we won fair number more rounds yesterday. Nuke was fun yesterday as for some reason the t's kept pushing outside, which meant we had total control of inside smoked the shyte out of entrances and out team were able to rotate quickly with two or players staying behind to clean up if needed.

We also rotated quickly to protect the bomb if dropped regardless of what was going on, and the players didn't go hunting unnecessarily, unless we had overwhelming numbers.

Some thing I tried out when sniper round comes along especially on inferno is to run to banana, smoke and negev in hand smoke either top or bottom banana and let it rip, more often then not I would get kills or suppress the t's enough to completely close off banana and force the T's to go back to T spawn area and hang out in apartments.

negev is highly underrated especially at $1700 and especially if your team lost around or two, and the T's have snipers. In inferno both the t's and ct's have the advantage of the negev. In mirage I would say the t's have the upper hand with the negev if you smoke top of mid and let rip on snipers nest you can take complete control of mid and lowers and then attack connector and cut off bomb sites extremely useful if you want to take B in a rush and basically just have to sit back and secure. I have also seen that getting to lowers quickly and throwing incendiary/ or smoke in snipers nest gives you a massive advantage. On ct side smoking/incendiary lowers helps a bunch.

I an not good with either the scout or awp, so I make up for it with nades and helping out in mid when needed from B would generally rush to B wait a few seconds and then fire off an incendiary to back of apartments and then flash and nade mid, where my team then usually attacks from connector or snipers nest.

I am not particularly good at clutching but managed 3 yesterday.

Ok, without being mean.

Deagle is easy to play with actually. Issue is not that people are getting headshots. Once you master the deagle headshots isn't that hard. I've played with Fulcrum, Cav, and Neoprod a lot before, they are really really good at the game. I stopped playing however due to time constraints. What I'm trying to say is they were very good with the Deagle hitting many good headshots.

AWPing is an art. If your timing is off you'll get AWPed the whole time. You need to be able to play the angles and you need to be able to understand the movement dynamics. Its not as simple as just picking up the AWP and shooting. I've done incredible shots with the AWP myself, making shots that should have gotten me VAC banned. The main issue I've seen with the AWPers in Comp is they always equip the Deagle with the AWP, when in fact they can't use one of the two.

Inferno is an easy map to play, so is Dust2, its all about Mid control on both of those. IF you have a good mid player you will be able to get map control. Playing B or A after that is just listening to the Mid player on what he is seeing, and preparing for what he is seeing. Mid reports he saw them all go B, get ready for a B execute.

Negev sucks. People spray with it. Easy tactic is to just wait for the reload and rush them. By the time they see there is player on them they won't have enough time to switch to a pistol, then they become an easy pick. In most games MG and above Negev isn't used.

Clutching is situational. If you are the last one on a Site and people are rushing the site its easy to stop the rush or slow it down. If its a retake not so easy.

CSGO is really a game of practicing. There isn't any way of just picking up a gun and being good with it. CSGO is a skill based game, there is no way to just compete with better players without playing against better players. Last time I played I stopped calling people cheaters. The skill level is higher than I was at, and I understood that. Not playing for two years puts me at a disadvantage.

Just because you are English it doesn't make you British. Post the demo.

The thing is a play casual only same applies to source back in the day, don't care for comp, and considering casual is a lot more players on each team you can let loose. Without being mean when last did you use a negev.Like awping it leaves you extremely vulnerable due to slow moving speed, however once you you come to grips where you need to point and compensate for the recoil headshots almost certain.

Almost every awper gets its ass handed to him as they don't know how to deal with negev, you can have have the fastest reactions in the animal kingdom, but doesn't stop you from getting owned with a negev, if you know where where the head shot areas are you are assured kills.

negev isn't used in comp not enough players and bound to end up with a TK, in casual with friendly fire off, you can go wild. I think that is why comp players would say no, it is useless, it isn't. It is a hail of fire, by the time you fired off one shot with your awp I have fired off 20, and when I have the line of sight you are pretty much screwed.

I don't attempt it without smoking first or when I don't have line of sight first, you are pretty much a sitting duck if you try to move in. You could pre fire from cover and move into line of sight but rarely works.

Smoke, negev, crouch go hand in hand. Try it

BTW add me on steam, wizardofid29 so I can negev you :D

BTW I am nearly 40 and have the reactions of a sloth. :P

Skillz. To be honest, I believe his account is legitimate so a VAC would make him cry. A lot could be boosted, man it is too hard to tell. I belong to account mining groups on Steam and people are pretty much blatant at how they are abusing their own, and main, accounts. Valve is turning a blind eye, and as always, I believe it is due to their marketplace activity and participation. Valve can say a lot, but they coin with every sale and API bounded service (which is in the abundance).

All I do is mine cards. None which is against Valve's terms. It is like installing a title and running it, and I only do one at a time.

A trained Awper or Scout will pick a Negev user the moment he starts shooting. The Negev is used in comp, so are the community coined CoD guns. It all comes down to use case, piel swaai and meta.

Can't find your name, send me a invite code or search for me, Cav5034

I only really play comps tho, not a casual king like @Neoprod

Not a negev player either....

So he left right after the winning kill and his buddy apologized for the toggle. Myself and rags reported him.

Before him leaving he was good but I think aggressive awping with high ping can work in your favor especially if you lag on my screen.

It does, and it is odd sometimes. The irony is that his high ping may have been a hack as well. I only watched him close the game out, but I wouldn't be surprised that he ran walls or radar hacks prior to the aggressive aim toggles. Hacks have 'sliders' too.

Funny thing about this hacker’s epidemic nowadays, most people can’t win cheaters so some start to cheat themselves, and it is contagious, but slowly it is becoming the new normal. Just see how the Fall Guys devs responded to their hacking issue, “please don’t share or talk about it”. The only solution as it stands is cloud gaming, but then you still need to deal with hardware mods.

Anti-cheat can work, but it requires pro-active development, plus the cheating community have riled the casual gamer up against the practice, you know, gamers want it cancelled.

I don't think a guest lobby user have an impact on your Trust Factor.

There is always FaceIT. See a cheater, report it, match gets canceled and cheater gets instantly banned. Only issue is that the skill level there is much higher than on Comps. Play badly and they will try and call a person out.

Pretty much this :(. Which is why I stay casual, it seems the easiest games for people to start hacking with is wingman I have not seen a single reviewed case of wingman that didn't have walls, aim, and spinbot.

Which is why 3 headshots in quick succession at hard angles is highly suspect, especially with a deagle, normally their aim is off, aiming at the air or knees and quick headshots from there, is a dead give away I have to force my self to keep my aiming at chest level constantly, on tricky fast interaction I often revert to going for the legs and hope for the best, more often then not I lose.

Some thing odd I encountered with the same player is I emptied a m4 clip crouch at a player a few feet away running towards me and hit nothing, threw a nade and zero damage as well usually you might get some armor damage or at least one damage if close enough, literally threw the nade on top of him, is there a invulnerability hack as well that I am not aware off ?
