CSGO Sticky thread

If Behringer price this right, then this will be the go to starter mixer/interface for gaming and streaming.

Almost all of Behringer's entry range interfaces have an adequate preamp, the only shortcoming is the 16-bit bitrate in which you can do recordings and the higher latency than the similarly priced competition hence the Scarlett's are selling so well and that the Scarlett have a lovely warm preamp. Streamers don't need more than 16-bit in any case, but I guess this will be 24-bit and if they nail the latency with this product it will be a winner.

We don't stock GoXLR locally, which is incredibly expensive at the moment, so this Flow8 will be competing against the Rode mixers if I look at the feature set. Remember, this is a 'digital' mixer.

I was typing this thinking the product wasn't released yet... It is priced $300 in the US. People will just buy GoXLR.

Sad. They should just make a Flow4 and cut half of the inputs and price it $180/$200 for gamers/podcasters. Something tells me that this still has an entry-point preamp for the 'mic' output.

I am still happy with my SSL, it is not a mixer, but it is Apogee quality for half the price.

I see there are new rumours that Source 2 is coming to CSGO because there was active dev testing done by 4 devs as tracked in the repository.

Nothing new will come to the game whilst there is an active IEM, no operation, no cases, no Source 2.

Issue is even if they switch it to Source 2 there will still be the issue of cheaters. The issue with the game isn't content. It isn't the toxic player base. Its the broken MM system and cheaters running rampant.

What many people do not realise is that CSGO is already using Source 2 code in parts, but it isn’t a port. All what Source 2 can bring to CSGO is more compatibility which should result in better (and smoother) user experiences. I honestly don’t know what players are expecting, but generally the game will be enabled with native support which still requires development. Source 2 isn’t going to remedy any exploits and there is a good chance that the situation may be worse in the short-term.

CSGO is what it is, accept it, it may become a better place again once the competitive leagues settle down again, Valve won’t make active game changes to an active competition.

CSGO devs working overtime as 10th operation rumors swirl

The Valve-only development version of CSGO recorded four developers online for just the fifth time ever since Steam Database started tracking the statistic in 2014.

While the rest of the world waits for CSGO's next operation, it looks as though developers put in some serious time behind the scenes this week. In fact, a closer look shows that Valve is doing something in CSGO, and has been for some times. Thanks to SteamDB, players have a fairly good understanding of how CSGO is laid out behind the scenes.

That information allows players to understand CSGO's development pipeline. CSGO's Beta application ID for the Mac version of the game is 733, meaning that specific updates for Apple computers are stored there until they're ready to be shipped. Any player who has ever had to save their own configuration file knows CSGO's application ID by heart, 730.

Devs have spent more time on CSGO than ever before

Valve developers have access to an exclusive experimental version of CSGO which is likely used to test new features, fixes, and additions to the shooter. There's been an unusual amount of activity in this version of CSGO since October, including two separate instances where four CSGO developers were online in the game at the same time. That means that more developers have been working on CSGO this month than in a very long time.

Admittedly, this might not sound like a big deal, but since SteamDB started tracking player counts for individual games in 2018 the site has only ever counted four CSGO developers online five total times. Three of those times have come in 2020.

Since rumors of a new CSGO operation started circulating in early October in anticipation of Counter-Strike 1.0's 20th birthday, all eyes have been on Valve and CSGO, but so far fans haven't heard a peep from CSGO in 11 days. Interestingly, CSGO's development branch was much more quiet leading up to Shattered Web's November 2019 release. In that time, SteamDB recorded only a handful of "players" leading up to the release of CSGO's ninth operation.

...

Blah blah blah

That media publisher is a bit late to the party.

This also happens to be the year the most translations was done to CSGO... I am curious though, I know that the Chinese version is a bit hacked and slashed due to censorship reasons, but I wonder whether any core changes is shared?

All Logitech have to do now is to also turn the 703 into a superlight. The problem is that they are attaching a premium to this superlight. I have also seen PRO X SUPERLIGHT reviews, and reviewer copies came in at 58 grams which are the same as the Glorius Model O-. I mean the MM710 weigh 53 grams.

The Razer Ultimate weigh in at 74 grams.

EDIT: Apparently Logitech also solved their switch issue which bugged many Logitech owners, the renowned Logitech double-click issue.

Maybe its just be but I always preferred a heavier mouse. Better tracking would be appreciated.

Guess the game think I'm very bad. It decided to uninstall it self out of nowhere
