CSGO Sticky thread

Anyone here watches IEM? The competition is a bit divided though with some teams playing in Blast which is overlapping.

I use to watch IEM and all the other big tournaments but with time I started playing the game and watching pro matches less and less

Been getting frame drops in csgo....

I'm talking 400 down to low 100's. And it makes a stutter frequently while playing and messing with my play style.

Definitely not my hardware. Anyone else been having issues lately?

I have been rubber banding since around September, some matches are so elastic that I want to quit. Played with some top-level players the other day, I was a complete waste due to that. Sometimes it is okay, other times it is not. I don't watch my FPS, loss or ping, it only serves to muddy my experience.

We don’t have the same experience, could be driver related in your case. I don’t know whether you have any launch options enabled, but clear it all. The latest CSGO patches already made most settings optimal.

In some instances, it may help to run the game in OpenGL emulation, but I doubt it would have any impact on newer hardware.

The only launch option needed on new systems is -novid and to enable any custom binds, crosshairs and whatnot.

I won't be able to tell you, could be your hacks.

Forgot to check the hacks...

Honestly the only thing in the past that had fixed it was a fresh windows install. Will try reinstall csgo first and see what happens.
