That is CSGO History's Tweet, it is meant to be like that, but I only posted it to convey the community's sentiment. There are others getting earlier access too.

Good advertising and all, but CS is top charts already. It's active player numbers are doing the talking, or maybe the bots does...

Just mentioning it due to people taking note. I will get my access in good time.

de_dust 2 unranked matches aren't going to keep the boys in the yard. The beta shouldn't be too long, US Summer 2023 is around the corner.
 
Anyone here got an invite? Seems content creators are the privileged ones.

There's not too much fans can do about the latter two in a pinch, but you can certainly rack up more CS:GO hours in a hurry. As flagged by Counter Strike caster Phy on Twitter, fans are already going AFK in Deathmatch servers to boost their playtime. We're not sure how that'll help their trust factor, but hey.

Now, seeing players go AFK in CS:GO is nothing new. As other players flag, people do it all the time to farm cases - there's been an uptick following a recent Revolution case(opens in new tab). Phy does note, though, that many players he came across were real and not bots. Other players in the thread also say they're more than happy to cut corners to access the beta.

Interesting thing though, Valve did an update to their Prime Status Upgrade and to CS2 about 2 hours ago. I wonder whether there was a glitch with the invites concerning Prime Status. Some high-level accounts weren't getting access and that must have peeved those users.

No invite here. They didn't even get to Warowl till there were complaints so I'm guessing this is a very small release.

I will play a bit tomorrow night. There are some local, non-CS, peeps who got access by starting up the game. Lol, Mr. Pink may have access, being a pro and all.
 
I have to say, Valve has closely observed Valorant. Subtle addition to CS2 which exists within Valorant, but then again, Valorant was kinda CS Source mechanically, but they have updated the game quite a bit since launch.

I doubt this would change VAC much since Valve still deploys VACnet, and where a detected cheater would be kicked the match would continue, but now the match will be terminated. VACnet will do what it does and VAC will operate as usual.

Apparently Overwatch is not all that compatible with CS2 hence it is currently disabled in CSGO, lol. Those with the know-how say that Valve is working on restoring that which they broke.
 
Geez, not a good CSGO experience since I started playing yesterday. It is still stacked with easily tiled school kids and twenty-year-olds who are only pleased by their one hand, possibly by their index finger too.

IT has been tough the last while, I have been getting progressively worse and worse at the game. Playing on and off at the moment which doesn't help at all
