CSGO Sticky thread

It seems CS2 is already plagued with player issues, the toxic-cheating kind. Apparently cheating is already prevalent, and some players maliciously kick players.

This explains why so many are cheating,

easy console exploits. Valve is probably aware, it being a beta and all, but are these same engine commands exploited by cheating utilities without needing overlays. Funny how the Xbox Overlay is used in many cheating utilities nowadays, and it has made cheats way more concealable. Anti-cheats can't look at the Xbox Overlay.

April 1st is tomorrow, right?

Follow Recoil is such a stupid option. It is so stupid that cheat devs don't even include it in their hacks since it is a cheat in CSGO. I agree and disagree with Warowl’s reasoning. As accessible as it will make CS2 it will also dumb down the shooting mechanics. Valve will need to take it under review, perhaps give it as an option in training and or custom maps.

/cough, at least it is one way to convince a player to legitimately play the game, but a player who is better at crosshair placement, reaction time and aiming will still outplay you.

What makes the option so stupid is how damn OP it will make some SMGs and LMGs, eco rounds will be boosted with this mode on.

Lol...much as I enjoy CS, I dont think I would do this even if I had the money..

Public announcement... Likely a Chinese, Saudi or Qatari buyer. There are big US and European buyers too, but they broker their items through third-parties (and pseudonyms). I see the seller is a skin store owner, got to wash them skins, and also brokered :whistling:

I think the most my CSGO inventory was worth was something like R1000, and that is only by drops. I don't keep CSGO items any more. I have like three skins I kept.

Played some demolition mode for the first time ever.

Not many people played but those who did certainly punished with instant headshot if I missed a shot.

Good training ground or am I mistaken?

I play on a laptop, decent laptop mind but screen size is the only issue.

RTX 3070 and 144Hz screen.

I used to warm up with demolition.

Either mouse settings helped or that or a combination but I got 20/7 on Italy which is not usually a good map for me.

Conversely, I struggle on Office now where that used to be a stronger map for me.

Mouse settings and playstyle playing a role.

Forcing me to play different a bit.

Admittedly, was only 3 on opposition but I was mostly alone on Italy. 1 decent guy and his other human companions were beyond useless, they also sucked on Office when playing on my side.

Lowering the mouse sensitivity seems to have helped and hampered me. Not sure if I played like I did before due to mouse setting or if I play like that despite it.

Gotta figure out a way to normalise it and just be good at it with the lower speed.

Long-range much easier but close combat is difficult where it used to be my bread and butter.

My historic K/D is below 1 because I suck so that 20/7 on a map I usually don't do well on surprised me.

Sensitivity lowered significantly from 3 to 1.25.
