CSGO Sticky thread

I am a bit unsure and I know that it has been tested in the limited test, but now with private servers enabled can we have private 5v5 matches?

MyBB vs MyBB
yes, 5v5 matches is possible. Its premier style however

The AK is unholy, and rightly so. The only weapon in the game that you can clutch 5 headshots in any way with a single clip within a short time.

Ironically, the weapon I have the best accuracy with is the M4A1-S. According to the stats I am most reliable with this weapon. I like that you can customise your loadout now. It is a godsend to be able to have both the M4A1-S and M4A4 available at the same time. Some weapons simply play circumstantially better than others.

Then also, I don't know whether it is a CS2 issue, but the Five-Seven don't like to be shot rapidly. Timed tap-shots do wonder though. Still P250 FTW.

All this said, the Glock is still the best weapon in the game.
Sure, but I was talking more about the Deagle, all of a sudden in CS2, you magically get one-shotted at long range with a Deagle...

Something which didn't really happen in CSGO...

I don't know. I have played CSGO a lot, and I have been picked by one deags more than I can count.

What you may experience is the delay that gives the now perceived peekers advantage.

Shroud says the game is going to die. Interesting.

Any game that Shroud doesn't play or like is dead to him, and apparently to everyone else too. CS isn't going anywhere. What may change is the esports landscape, and the esports landscape will mold the games we all competitively play online.

Not that there is any concern now, but the Arabs have been buying up esports properties. This will impact how developers and publishers make their games.

Activision-Blizzard also wants RTS to make a comeback. The esports audience is only that big.

I do agree with Shroud that the CSGO items are a massive scam. Still, he continues to open cases. He contributes to the problem. People simply love to gamble, and this is why Valve prints money.

Lol, this might explain why my alt's rank is so low:

Some Premier matches were abandoned because one or two players couldn't handle the heat, and they started the process by kicking the solo. I was also kicked out of Premier matches twice for no reason.
This is why I am worried about solo cueing
It is bad enough I get called a squeaker, a transvestite or an old hag  But my performance anxiety really gets triggered at the thought of being kicked.

Blast Fall will be played with CSGO, and then Blast will switch to CS2. ESL have announced their devotion to Valve and will start Syndey with CS2. I think there are three days between Blast Fall (played in NA and EU) and ESL Sydney which will have the esports organisations competing at both have their opinion.

Just an odd situation at this time. Though the rules are the same in CS2 and CSGO the games aren't mechanically the same or at least so behaviorally. Valve needs to sort this out.

ESL is a LAN event so perhaps conditionally it will be in a better state to play. The question is whether Valve will have CSTV live by then and have the demos active, sure it has to be?

I do think that the issue might sit server side, impacted by the client's connection and path to the server. In short, the sub-tick packages aren't delivered all the same. This could be so by design: in a Twitch shooter you want the best response time to win, but CS2 needs tweaking. I won't be able to say, the issues are observable, so Valve must take note.

What can be said, and by Valve's own recognition, is that they don't have the server capacitance at this time which may exacerbate the issues the players are experiencing. The issues were already there during the limited test...

For now, it is best to see how ESL Sydney goes.
Well our pro teams are all playing on CS2. Saw a few of them practicing - so they are preparing for the move.

M4A1-S is my fave. I used to be good with the AK but I have not mastered the spray yet on CS2. It is different. But if I tap I am not too bad. But I still panic sometimes and move and shoot. Was always my downfall. So for now I play Casual in the hopes I will improve

I ignore it. I got kicked last night, possibly because I was bottoming out, but I had no comms with the team and I had no idea what they were doing. They were all over the place. Then I got a game against them, and I carried my team. I got called everything undesirable under the sun in chat.

I can't clutch every round or match, and neither can I grind out consistency time and time again. Besides, I am not that young anymore. At best, I am pretty average, but at least I understand the in-game dynamics very well.

They should. Valve needs to patch the delay issue, it is an unwelcomed anomaly within their code. Semi-pro and pro players learn by repetition, and will train to best prepare against these issues, but it could cause some inconsistencies. From what I see, CS2 was rushed to market. I am sure things will improve.

I don't know anybody actively competing in CS anymore. Those who were heavily invested either own organisations or are part owners, but I have no communication with them anymore.

I know a few of the Bravado guys - and some in smaller teams
They are on that list you posted.

This game keeps causing my PC to hang...Game freezes, I can windows key back and then when you try alt+ctrl+del the task manager doesnt come up and you have to reset....I get a black screen with only the task bar showing at the bottom.

Anyone else getting this issue? Can happen at any time, during a game, during load out or just after being killed.
Is not regular either, been playing since 5 and only getting this problem now. Yesterday was fine.
