Here is a selection. Personally, I like the Lian Li PC Q07, which isn't perfectly cube-shaped, but meh. There are a couple from CFI-Group that fit the bill.

Thanks Mesugga

Shoulda probably mentioned that I checked out prophecy and a couple other sites too. Problem is, I'm not sure whether the mini-itx cases will take a micro atx board, although that is the kind of look I'm going for. Also, it doesnt have to be perfectly cube shaped, but I'm looking for it to stand on top of a low-ish tv unit in my lounge, so it just msunt look like a normal pc, then I might as well gooi it on the floor next to the unit.

This looks like some of the ones I saw, but it might just be out of my price range, I really dont wanna spend too much on the case alone. Where did you get yours from, and for how much? I saw a few lian li and antec cases on bidorbuy too, but nothing under R1k.

Ah, my mistake. For some reason I remembered those chassis being mATX. Anyway, here is a comparison of the various motherboard form factors. mATX is significantly larger than m-ITX so I wouldn't take the gamble on a chassis intended for the smaller being able to take the larger. You have the motherboard already, I assume?

yip, already have everything, its currently residing in my lounge next to the tv unit. The TV is mounted on the wall, so there's nothing on the top of the unit at the moment, looks a bit meh! Was thinking of putting family pictures on it, but thinking that a decent cube-ish shaped case will look better :D

ouch! Dont even think my whole system is currently worth that, hence the reason I wanna keep it as cheap-ish as possible.

for when is this needed?

and is local the only option?

not right away, just trying to find something decent, if it take a few weeks i'm cool with that. was hoping for local, but if nothing is available, i'll definitely start looking to import
