Yeah I have the 24-105 L IS "cup" on my desk - got it as a pressie from a friend in the US - amusing when friends get here and try pick it up and think it is a real lens. The first sign of it not actually being a lens is that I don't use Cannon - I mean real friends would know that about me :)

Thought Canon was meant to be up there on top; oh well just shows how much I have to learn about this game.

It is. All of them are. People just choose a brand and then get superior about it.
