I signed up to the 4K package last night and on my 25Mbps line, it buffers. The worst is that I can't manually select the resolutions - so 4K viewing is out! I think I need to downgrade my package to not stream 4K ...

Yet, YouTube / Netflix / Amazon are perfect in 4K HDR - so not the line at all.

Anyone else using the service? Buffering at all?
Do the others all have local servers in country?
Do you think throwing extra bandwidth at the issue will help?

I've bumped up to a 50Mbps from 01 August ... but unsure it'll help, if the issue is on their side

Are you using any type of proxy?

Could be your ISP is controlling bandwidth to certain services (shaping). The fact that some things work, like YouTube, makes me think that there is some shaping. Remember that your line seed is an "up to" speed and, as the Americans like to say "experience may vary".

Hi,

No proxy.

Line is 25Mbps fibre uncapped / unshaped.

I'm pretty sure the issue is on their side though, because everything else is blistering. I just can't confirm it

Hello
I signed up for the 1080p stream, was thinking of 4K but decided to just try out first on full hd, with the SmartDNS proxy, no issues, no buffering and excellent quality (one of my favorite apps now). Pretty sure the Amazon Fire TV app allowed me to adjust settings as well.
Currently on MFN 100/100, CISP, (right now have another issue logged for peak speed degradation)

Thanks nk1

1080 I don't struggle with - only the 4K. I'm hoping the 50Mbps line does the trick ...
