Current ISP doesnt want to release line early

I am migrating to Afrihost pure. I have paid for my notice period with my current ISP (1 months notice) and wanted them to release my line earlier so that i can start using Afrihost earlier. They are indicating they cannot release earlier as its they policy.

Just wanted to find out if there is any recourse for getting them to release since i have paid up.

Tried doing the same last month. From vox to bitco. They just said it could not be done. :/

had great service from websquad and macrolan, websquad more hands on, macrolan more you're just a number in the system and signup was a manual process, limping along with afrihost now with their kuk EU connection, at least it's free, on vumatel trenched by the way, will go back to websquad after the promo has ended, and if they let me down then back to macrolan.

I have a open ticket with them every evening at about 18:00 my line speed drops to 2Mbps (out of 200Mbps) but during the day its fine .Our neighbours claim they have no problems so who knows :unsure:

Problems in the past year with them included packet loss , high ping and now slow speeds

Must say i have not had bad experiences with vox. But i decided to try bitco home. Because im really happy with the way our bitco business fiber has been performing over the last two years. Websquad was definitely my next option.

sounds like their ipc is congested.
 
I move recently took a whole months notice from Cool ideas to Afrihost but in the end no issues with the release of the line
