Lions a shoo-in? Couldn't believe what a meal the Sharks made of beating a B team Cheetahs last weekend.

They really are a side that blows hot and cold from one week to the next. (Sharks)

Must be said, disappointing to see a general lack of interest in the CC on this forum and also at the stadiums. Every year its shares plummet.

Too much the same side playing the same sides over and over again. It gets boring by April.

Game of the season coming up me thinks... Hope the Lions are up for it! Any opportunity to see Dayimani play is an honour and a privilege.

I honestly didn't see that going like it did. Didn't see any of it, but almost fell off my chair when i saw the final score. Defintely looking forward to the highlights later!*

* - you of course, not so much... :p

Yeah, was poor from the lions. Their porous defense continues to be worrying. Mind you, neither side defended particularly well. We’ve seen a lot of 100 point matches this season. Standard really isn’t good.

Personally, we can thank Super Rugby.

That competition just won't end and it takes the shine off of the once highly anticipated derby games. By the time we get to the first North-South Derby or Jukskei Derby we've already seen those teams play one another two and possibly three times.

If Super Rugby was slimmed down and sharpened up it could help the Currie Cup.
