Curry recipe

Yes, Atlas

Its very hard to find true Cape Malay Curry even in the CBD, reason why I went for the course. I no longer enjoy spicey food, I like food with flavour. I find Cape Malay is much milder where Indian is about burning your stomach - personal preference.

Indian food by South Africans is definitely hotter. Authentic Indian cuisine can be mild and full of flavour.

When the curry was done.

We got some frozen naan from Nagiahs but it was too thick and doughy.

I find it weird how in London the names of curries means the heat level. I wanted a vindaloo while there and the guy was like no we don't go that hot, the hottest we go is Masala, I was like what?

I think we expect to just be able to make a curry from a recipe like baking muffins... Its all about practice and finding the perfect method you like. I Personally would be sad trying to make my own curry, i Just go to my favourite place in the world in Umbilo Durban and that Goundens :D

I make a half decent tomato and chicken curry every 2 weeks. No reason why you couldn't too.
