Custom USB cables

There are one or two vendors of custom usb cables in the UK. Similar to the cables in the photos. Any interest in having a local supplier of custom cables?

This old IBM keyboard style cable twist do not work well with USB 2.0 frequencies, so application is limited to the low speed devices like keyboards.

Besides, Neotel was using these A-to-A non-standard cables in their wireless phones, it should be plenty around. Make yourself when needed (a rare case) by cutting two USB cables with type-A plug and join together all wires of the same colour.

Yes, they're keyboard cables. The cables in the UK sell for 17 to 27 pounds, without shipping.

I would always look at alternative suppliers of quality cables

BUT I wouldn't try and base a business around it.. There is just too much chance of getting disinter-mediated or an alternate product winning...

Good feedback. I was thinking of a hobby that could perhaps pay for itself, but its probably not viable as even that.
