I am still wondering what the fuss was about? I personally haven't seen any difference in the usual service levels from Telkom. How did this strike impact us (apart from a possible price increase to offset the increased salaries/wages negotiated)?

i think that the unions got shafted..and not as they claim to have "broke the backbone of Telkom".They were given a worse offer than previously but accepted!!! how is that a Victory ...??

Hi whipper, this is what I've being saying all along. The unions, especially CWU, are trying to save face with their members as they have been outwitted by the Telkom negotiators (again!! when will they ever learn?)

And all employees (except management) will receive the same 'additional' benefits and will be treated exactly the same!
