Pretoria - Cyber security threats were growing, Telkom warned on Wednesday, World Telecommunications Day. .....

....Telkom offered a variety of services including security consulting and auditing, risk assessment, vulnerability scanning....

"As a customer-centric organisation, Telkom values the role that these security services play in ensuring that customers are protected from hackers," said Letlape.

Vomit.

"Your computers are under threat! Quick, give us money so we can save you from our network!"

At least News24 got the title right.

Oh, and 'World Telecommunications Day'? Riiiight....

no ways would I trust teklom... not after what they did.

I'd rather trust somebody else who've proved them already many times over, in this case, Smoothwall.

What a plonker! Lulu receives an e-mail: "Cyber Threats are Growning". Lulu attends a conference: "Cyber threats are Growing", Lulu writes a press release: "Cyber Threats are Growing". What a wonderful inspirational person, with people like this at the top of our Telecoms industry it's no wonder we're up the creek.

The biggest mistake ever they should not dare hackers.
They will see it as a challenge.
Can't wait for headlines "Telkom down Hacked"

I agree they may convince you need a phone that you can not put in your pocket can not sms mms 3G not even video and read the fine print calling a ISP is not the same as a local call.

What ?! are they joking? Trust telscum? they kidding?

THANK YOU so much Telkom for protecting us!.... now who is going to protect us from you?

Telkom has done more damage to my bank account, internet uptime and performance than hackers ever will. Telkom: South Africa's Number 1 Cyber-Threat

When I first read the heading, I thought Telkom was refering to their customers as being a threat to them.
