Cybersmart - down?

Is anybody else having cybersmart issues this morning? Even the guest account wont work.

Error is "Timeout waiting for PADO packets"

I know my line is fine as the Telkom guest account works.
 
I'm having problems too, 2nd day now my account wont authenticate. I phone, they tell me Telkom swopped my port, my user/pass is locked to the port, they need to reset, which is instant, done yesterday, but now its doing it again, and their support only comes on at 10:30.

Lovely.

I actually cancelled my account with them yesterday, cant wait to move to Axxess.
 
My account connects fine, haven't had any problems this month.

btw what does your username end with? @cybersmart.co.za or @fast.cybersmart.co.za
 
Thanks for the advice StonCold - I'll speak to someone when their support line opens @ 10:30.

To be honest with you though......I havent really had too many issues with them. I'll ask them about changing the username anyway.
 
I think I'll do that too.

My main reason for changing is the news server issue, they dont allow it.
 
Yes, I got service again this morning @ around 10:20am... Its been working fine since.

I see there's a new service they're offering as of this evening - this might have caused the downtime ....
 
I had problems too...from last night till about 10:00 this morning. Browsing today is as slow as dialup :( .I have a @fast (fast ????) account.

Edit: On a 4 Mbps line I'm getting 523 Kbps down and 9 Kbps up from http://www.speedtest.net/ with pings of 389 between Durban and Cape Town ?????????
