Cybersmart throttling ?

Hey guys,

Have any of you experienced any throttling when using file hosting services such as Rapidshare or Storage.to on Cybersmart ADSL accounts ?

No, but some torrents have been impossibly slow the past few days.

I just tried to download a file from Rapidshare and the speed was extremely slow - switched to another ISP and it was full speed again.

Although it seems to be running at full speed on Cybersmart now... very strange.

Thanks. I also just received confirmation from Laurie.

"We do not shape, proxy or throttle. It is however a contended service so under heavy load you will not get full line rate"
