Girmay crashes in the final sprint and 9th for Gibbons today. Best stage result for him this year? Can't remember now.
 
A bit of excitement today at the end there WRT the GC. Carapaz rode like a demon possessed though...

It might turn out to be a close race between Jonas and Remco for 2nd. Remco in theory is a better time trialist, so he might look to close the gap in the next two stages to get himself within striking distance.
 
I’ve loved watching every one of Tadej’s wins this tour; I loved watching Jonas outsprint him for the first time too; I loved watching Cav win that 35th, but honestly, Victor’s win is probably my favourite of this edition of the Tour.

Brilliant ride. Brilliant gamesmanship… Just glorious.
