Was not a good year for SA in the Tour. No SA riders at all. We need more Robbie Hunters, Impeys and Ashleighs.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time in over a decade or so with no SA riders. Will have to look it up.

Ashleigh was snubbed in favor of Kim Le Court Pienaar, a Cape Town based Mauritian who's married to a South African

So she's the closest we have to a rider in the Tour. She won the women's Liege-Bastogne-Liege this year.

Haha looks like the only fine and penalty handed out today was for the car of the Jury UCI president and race director for almost taking out riders during stage 19. 500 Swiss franc fine and a yellow card lol. Vid here:
