Anyone know what the times up the climb were for Jonas and Tadej?

I see Sepp Kuss did 16:40.

I'm just interested cause the two started the climb almost 16 minutes behind the break and halved that gap by the finish. That speed differential is immense.

(Mientjies did a 17:09 and still lost 2 minutes at so to the yellow and white)

I think I'd still be trying to finish.

The commentator on Supersport just said "it's so hot, my banana's hot".

Too much info Anthony

I see Astana have offered Cav a contract for next year should he choose to take it.

He did say he's feeling the best he has in his career (prior to the crash) so I hope he takes it up and we see him next year.

Who's the commentators there? On Supersport it's Anthony McCrossan and Nicolas Roche.

Not sure who they're commentating for.
Oh, they're not too bad.

On GCN they alternate, Dan Lloyd, Sean Kelly, Carlton Kirby, Rob Hatch, Matt Stephens. Probably some others. The last few stages they had Jonothan Vaughters on for nearly an hour at a time. That was good. I like the different perspectives. And Johnathan Harris Bass does his daily recipe, that's fun.

I think he'll be back. Don't think he's someone who will end his career with a stupid crash like that.

Carlton is one of my favourites lol. Funny guy.

On supersport it used to be Phil and Paul for many years then Matthew Keenan and Robbie McEwen I think till they switched to Anthony a few years ago who had a couple of different co-commentators since then like Hannah Walker and now Roche. Anthony's a bit too serious for my liking and he's on almost every road race on SS.

Oh, yeah, they have McEwan on GCN as well.

Are they also playing the team radio on your feed? On SS all the inserts (interviews, team radio etc) is super soft.

Yup, that's true. Can't hear any interviews etc on SS. As far as I know it's something SS techies should be able to fix. Happens almost every year for a little while at the start of one or two stages then they fix it. Not this year though..

I wonder if the race will come down to the time-trial stage, hope it's still close by the time we get to that stage!

You'll be surprised to know Vingegaard has not finished behind Pogacar in the third week time trial yet.

Anyway, I think the great Dane will put the tour beyond reach on the Col de la Loze. (that's if he didn't already do it a week before on the Colombier)
