Oh no, just heard the news on the Vuelta

Edit: media says he's in life threatening condition but Jumbo says that's bs

Yeah. Valter said the team gave the riders the good news at the base of the climb.

Out of morbid curiosity, I'd love to know what happened. The initial reports I read yesterday say Nathan was stopped at an intersection, fell ill, and that caused him to accelerate through the intersection and crash into 5 cars. Weird.

Oh his pregnant wife was in the passenger seat and luckily uninjured.

Yup that's what I read too. Crashed into 5 or 6 parked cars. Sounds like a minor crash and that he's in hospital because he passed out, not because of any crash injuries. Sounds like he and his wife are both uninjured.

Exactly my thoughts. I wonder what this means for his sporting future.

Read somewhere it was a heart attack and that was my first thought as well. If he has a heart condition now he will probably be forced to retire. We'll see..

Anyway, Jumbo really is unbeatable. Best team by far in its current form and I think they will continue winning most major races for the next couple of years at least.

Forgot about the Tour of Britain. Well done Wout. And well done Jumbo for winning Vuelta and next year's TDF, Giro, Vuelta and many other races :)

Interesting. Thoughts on this? Do you guys think Kuss is treated unfairly by Jumbo? Also do you guys think it will be massively controversial if Kuss loses the race to Vingegaard or Roglic after all his hard work?

Personally I think Jumbo, Vingegaard and Roglic did nothing wrong. If Kuss isn't good enough, he's not good enough. Would like to see him win for a change but if he doesn't then oh well. I think it's unfair to now try to make Jonas and Primoz the bad guys.

Sorry, don't know why the tweet isn't loading correctly..

Not unfair. You win because you're better than the rest, not because the rest let you win.

Exactly. Hate that some are making sport more about feelings than anything else.

This is what happens when you have 3 leaders on a team instead of just 1.

I see Roglic is leaving Jumbo. Will reveal his new team later when his season ends.

The merger has put him off. Vingegaard, roglic, evenepoel and van aart don't all fit in the same packet.
