The new Hypercar from Calfornian company, Czinger Vehicles./

Czinger 21C Hypercar Hits 100 Km/H In 1.9 Seconds With 1,233 HP (919 KW)

Last week we spoke about the new hypercar from Calfornia company, Czinger Vehicles Inc called the 21C and now the company has given us some fresh shots of the hypercar which boasts 1,233 hp (919 kW).

Using a proprietary hybrid powertrain, the Czinger (pronounced Zinger) 21C claims to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in a mind-boggling 1.9 seconds.

Czinger Teases 919 kW Hybrid Hypercar

The Los Angeles-based startup has teased its 21C hypercar ahead of a formal reveal at the Geneva Motor Show in the first week of March 2020.

Not much is known about its hybrid engine, but from what Czinger is claiming, 0-100 kph in 1.9 seconds is possible. The engine produces a combined 919 kW, which for those of you who like quoting horsepower, is 1 233 hp.

Czinger 21C hypercar: 1233bhp hybrid powertrain confirmed

New firm aims to steal the show in Geneva next month with 3D-printed bodywork and bespoke engineering

New US company Czinger has confirmed its “rule-breaking, record-hunting” 21C hypercar will put out 1233bhp from a hybrid powertrain.

No specific details of the powertrain’s size or layout have been revealed, but it's claimed to make the 21C capable of 0-62mph in 1.9sec. New images have been released ahead of the car’s public debut at next month’s Geneva motor show.

The powertrain was developed in-house, as was the 21C’s 3D-printed structure, which centres on a two-person in-line seating configuration.

Promising to showcase a “paradigm shift in the way vehicles are designed, developed, engineered and manufactured”, the year-old company is named after founder and CEO Kevin Czinger, the man behind the Divergent Blade supercar of 2015.

The Blade was claimed to be the first car of its type to use 3D-printing to form body and chassis components.

The Czinger 21C will do 0-62mph in 1.9 seconds

LA startup’s hybrid hypercar will have 1,233bhp. Blimey

Oh Czinger, you big tease. Ahead of next month’s Geneva Motor Show, the LA-based start-up has let slip its 21C hypercar will be able to hit 62mph in an outrageous 1.9 seconds.

Yes, Internet, 0-62mph in less than two seconds. If true, that makes the 21C one of the fastest-accelerating things on four wheels. For context, Tesla claims its new Roadster will do 0-60mph (not 62mph, note) in 1.9 seconds, while Rimac claims the C_Two does 0-62mph in 1.97 seconds. And we mustn’t forget the Aspark Owl…

New US brand's Aston Valkyrie rival is limited to 80 cars, gets 1233bhp hybrid V8 that revs to 11,000rpm

New US company Czinger has fully revealed its "rule-breaking, record-hunting" 21C hypercar, and detailed the extraordinary powertrain the lurks within it.

Limited to just 80 models, the Aston Martin Valkyrie rival will make its public debut at next month’s Geneva motor show. But the firm has now revealed the 21C is powered by an in-house developed 2.88-litre, flat crank V8, with twin turbos, that revs to 11,000rpm and sends its power to the rear wheels.

If that wasn't enough, it's also supplemented by two electric motors powering the front wheels, resulting in a total output of 1233bhp. With the road-going version's kerbweight of 1250kg (the lightweight track configuration is just 1218kg), Czinger claims a true 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.

Unsurprisingly, the quoted acceleration figures are mind-boggling. 0-62mph is dealt with in 1.9sec, 0-186mph takes 15sec, and 0-248mph is possible in a scarcely believable 29sec. a 268mph top speed is claimed.

932 kW Czinger Hypercar Coming to Geneva

There's a new supercar brand out. Check out Czinger's hybrid weapon, capable of 0-100 kph in just 1.9 seconds and packing a mighty 919 kW!

Czinger, a Los Angeles-based startup, recently teased its 21C hypercar ahead of its formal reveal at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and now the company has revealed some specification details.

The Czinger 21C is a 1,233bhp 3D-printed hypercar

Californian Koenigsegg rival has an 11,000rpm V8, a 1+1 layout… and costs $1.7m

We’ve seen the teasers, we’ve grappled with the name (silent C, pronounce it like the tower burger) now, at last, Czinger is ready to divulge all the good stuff on its 21C hypercar. And the big news is it’s 3D printed. Well, large sections of the chassis are, paving the way for a revolutionary new car manufacturing process that could change… everything.

Before we get into all that though, ready for the numbers? Please adopt the brace position. The engine is an in-house developed 2.9-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 937bhp with an 11,000rpm red-line. It’ll be the world’s most power-dense production engine, connected to a seven-speed sequential gearbox.

0-100km/h in 1.9 seconds! Czinger unleashes 932kW hypercar

Los Angeles-based start-up Czinger Vehicles has lifted the lid on its first creation and it’s a hypercar with some extreme credentials.

Just 80 of these beastly ‘21C’ hypercars are set to see light of day and customers will be able to choose whether their car is road-oriented or dedicated to a life on the track, through an extensive individual customisation programme.

Oh, and there’s no room for a passenger - this hypercar is a lone indulgence that places the driver in the centre for the ultimate driving experience, and optimal weight distribution.

Acceleration is nothing short of explosive in this lightweight machine, which has a dry weight of just under 1200kg. It’s powered by a hybrid powertrain that produces 932kW and the key ingredient here is a mid-mounted 2.88-litre twin-turbo flat-crank V8 that revs all the way to 11 000rpm. The engine is paired with a seven-speed automated gearbox and all-wheel-drive system, complete with high-output electric motors on each of the front wheels, which also provide torque vectoring.

919 kW Czinger 21C hypercar revealed ... with twin-turbo 2,88-litre V8!

Another boutique manufacturer is throwing its hat into the hypercar ring to take on the likes of Bugatti and Koenigsegg. Hailing from Los Angeles in California is Czinger, which has revealed its first product, the 21C.

The new hypercar features an array of unique design and engineering cues. Czinger claims the production process of the 21C is "revolutionary" and that its design process is a 21st century take on coachbuilding, as each unit is assembled by a team of artisans.

The American firm says the 21C’s design originates from the concept of functional art and its performance-driven “line logic” influences the dramatic shape. To make the hypercar more aerodynamic, the cabin has been given a narrow design while the shrink-wrapped body tightly hugs the chassis.

Driving the 21C is a twin-turbo 2,88-litre V8 (with a redline of 11 000 r/min!) mounted to the middle of the chassis. It sends power to the rear axle via a seven-speed sequential transaxle gearbox with a hydraulic actuated multi-plate clutch. Additional juice is sourced from a pair of high-output electric motors attached to each front wheel (these also provide torque vectoring) making for a combined power figure of 919 kW.

Czinger Show Their 21C Hypercar On Geneva Stand Despite Cancellation

Czinger decided that since they had already completed their Geneva Motor Show stand and flown all the way from California that they should share some images with us.

As a reminder, their first car is the revolutionary hypercar called the 21C which packs an extraordinary 1,233 hp (919 kW) from a 2.88-litre flat crank twin-turbo mid-mounted V8. An electric motor is also assigned to each front-wheel which helps set an 8.1-second quarter-mile time, a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 1.9 seconds, a 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) and back to 0 in 15 seconds and 0 to 400 km/h (248 mph) to 0 in 29 seconds.

Czinger to follow up 21C hypercar "sooner than you expect"

New Californian brand intends to follow 21C with other premium sporting models, using its innovative 3D printing production method

New California brand Czinger hasn’t long pulled the covers off its first production model, the 21C hybrid hypercar, but a plan is already in place to quickly expand its portfolio.

Speaking to Autocar at the first public debut of the 21C in London (a starring debut at the ill-fated Geneva motor show was intended), chief commercial officer Jens Sverdrup confirmed that Czinger was “not a hypercar brand, but a car brand”.

Widebody Czinger 21C Hypercar With 1,350 HP (1,007 KW) Available To Order

Czinger officially revealed their rather impressive 21C hypercar in March and according to PistonHeads, a new model is on the way too which will likely be even more impressive.

Czinger’s chief commercial officer, Jens Sverdrup mentioned to the publication that a widebody version with an additional 100 hp is on the way.
