Hey everyone,
I have been googling solutions to this dilemma but to no avail.
I wish to use my D-Link 2750U router to act as a sort of "repeater".
I live in a block of flats here at university and me and my friend decided to split the cost of an uncapped 4mbps line.
He lives relatively close to me (an apartment diagonal to me 1 floor underneath) and i can pick up his modems reception but only 2 bars of signal strength. Problem is that it wont connect at all.
I have a DLINK 2750U router laying around and I have done a little bit of research on bridging. I understand i could use an old router to work as a bridge in order to pick up a good signal strength from his primary router and sort of 'repeat' this signal to the DLINK router at which i can then connect my laptop and other devices in order to access internet etc.
Is it possible to do this?
If so, how do i do this?

Amith
