I have a D-Link 300T ADSL Modem connected in bridge mode. I need to know at what speed my connection is connected to the internet. Currently it gives me the connection speed between my pc and the modem which is 100Mbps. Is there any way to change it? Im on a 384K line. ANy help would be appreciated.:)

The 100Mbps is the speed that your PC is connected to the modem - i.e. via 100Mbps ethernet cable.

You can check your connection speed in the web config of the modem.

The ip address for a d-link modem is usually 192.168.1.1. Type the IP address into a browser, log in using your password and look for a tab that says "ADSL stats" or similar.

Thanks for the reply, but I know how to check my connection status in the menu. I know I am being weird, but I need my connection icon to show me the internet connection speed and not the connection speed to my modem.:D
