Hi & welcome to the forums.

You can get the latest firmware from http://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/ADSL/

The important thing to check is the hardware version/revision, which is next to the H/W label.
I didn't see a build for the T1 revision of the DSL-2640U though.

Is there any particular reason why you'd want to upgrade its firmware?

Thank you for quick response.
My DSL-2640U disconnects often, I think it's the ME firmware-1.00
i didn't find any thing on the site http://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/ADSL ,
When I ping 192.168.1.1, I get a lot of mistakes, I mean more than the errors transmitted data

That could indicate a problem with your ADSL line not your router, there must be too much noise on your line hence the disconnects, what are your line stats? You can find your line stats in the following location on your router: Device Info > Statistics > ADSL

Copy down the whole table and paste it here on the forums, a screenshot would be better if you know how to do that.

it's a big problem!
even in the web pages, I have to refresh the page two or three times for viewing my page.
I think the firmware, because with another modem from a friend, it works correctly.

Are you connected to the router via Wireless? If not, then you shouldn't get any packet loss when you ping 192.168.1.1.

yes , am conncted via wireless !!but my other computer is connected to the ethernet port is the same prb
