Need a WiFi ADSl router asap... Had only good experiences with netgear but i can get a dlink for R200 cheaper. Is the Netgear really worth the extra? have never worked with dlink products before so skeptical.

Anyone have any experience with D-Link?

Its mainly just going to be for home use, needs to be stable & have good wireless.

Thnx:)

I've sold several netgear and dlinks, they're 6 one half a dozen the other.
I like the dlink web interface tho.

Yeah, pretty much the same. I've sold Dlink and Netgear and also prefer the Dlink interface.

Hi,
Sold both products but have had the best results with Netgear. The wireless has been excellent for me. The interface as mentioned is ok.

I've got a DLink and I'm happy with it. The ethernet ports don't like electricity spikes though. Wireless range is good if you change the channel.

Have used both D-Link (DSL-G604T) and Netgear (DG834G). They do pretty much the same thing but I prefer the Netgear wifi. In my experience it's been more stable and I get more consistent speeds. The D-Link wifi dropped connections (often) and the speeds ranged from 8mbps to 48mbps

ps: the routers were placed in exactly the same spot.

Ended up getting the Netgear SuperG Wireless 108MBPS (DG834GT), was R920. Loving it sitting all the way on the other side of the house and getting good signal.

Yah, both are about the same. I also like the D-Link interface a bit more.
