So I bought this monitor last week and unpacked it today.

Although the website says it has DVI input, it doesn't. Hooked it up using a DVI to VGA converter and it looks pretty good, but something in me says that it should have DVI and I should go swap it for a monitor that does...

What say you?

I'd take it back and search for a DVI version, personally (even if the difference is marginal) :)

The ACER X243W does not come with a DVI port - Go back to Incredible Corruption and tell them you're there to come and get the correct screen. You want the ACER X243W with the DVI ports as advertised. Take a picture of their expression for me please!

Bleh. For R499 more you can get the P243W with HDMI and DVI inputs. The only reason I took the X243W was I prefered the silver casing at the MATT screen. The P243W has a gloss screen. I don't mind paying the bloody R500 - I just want something a little future-proof.

I am over my 7-day return period, but I will talk my way into it.
