D3 Demon Hunters Conclave

I will be on the lookout for those - what about my Sin Seekers - quite a good roll, I think.

Yeah not bad at all. I used to run a 1hander + sinseekers, till i picked up the second nice 1handed bow. The rest of your items are pretty decent. How much is your sheet DPS in-game? 1.1mill range im guessing?

900k-ish. Attack speed does feel very slow, especially when running in a group. Running alone, I feel less judged :/

The quicker you fire, i.e. 1handed bows the more value you get from things like slow, and cull of the weak etc. i reckon. Wont go back to 2handers ever again.

I used to have a Natalya's Slayer (I think - one handed set bow), but the manticore was an upgrade on sheet DPS. Under the old regime, my level 60 manticore served me well.

Im gonna drop the Marauders into the stash and go back to Garwulf. I lost about 25% CHC with those equiped

I explained elsewhere - its a trade off

2x1H = lots of little attacks with a big range (by range I mean the difference in the weapon base damage)
2H = few big attacks with a small range, ie more consistent damage per shot

One shot from a 2H will generally produce twice as much damage vs a 1H. But of course you probably get two shots off from a dual 1H setup in the same time as one shot from a 2H.

And a greater chance for any procs to activate in the same period.

@Archer. There is no way a 2h bow/quiver does the same damage in the same amount of time than 2 high DPS 1h bows with sockets, sorry but no, that is no correct in any way.

Indeed, well noted

I was explaining the basics of how skills use your weapons base damage to assign the final damage numbers. That is 100% correct in every way

I have a RoRG that I haven't put in front of Maryam yet, what should I be aiming for when I do?

Actually its quite possible for the 2-hander to do far more damage in the same amount of time.

If you have a skill that based off your weapon damage and doesnt have a cooldown the 2-hander has the potential to do way more damage than the 1-hander in the same amount of time.

I have never run with dual one-handed crossbows. Done the single one-handed crossbow/quiver combo plus my old faithful combo, two-handed bow/quiver. At the moment I have two 2.5k DPS one-handed crossbows in my stash. One I managed to roll a socket on but the second is still eluding me. I am really not sure how dual one-handed crossbows will push out more DPS than what I am getting with my current two-handed bow/quiver combo. Guess I will have to keep rolling for a socket to test and see.

I could be wrong but I think you answered your own question. In my estimation, having two sockets, each with a gem doing +130% crit damage is +260% crit damage versus a 2H weapon with one socket doing +130%...
