A little place where all of us foolish, er I mean brave souls get to brag (or cry) about our D3 hardcore toons.

People with HC toons (last update 25 July). Alive toons first, with highest level death in brackets):

I actually almost died last night crossing the fields of slaughter - elite heralds of pestilence with arcade molten plague and another normal mob of heralds, tons of those cow dudes... Killed siege breaker (was stupid way), now I'm toying with the idea of going further but those phasebeasts... Maybe it's better if I wait a while

Lost 3 Witch Dcotors at Paragon 13, 23 and 14 respectively to carelessness and a Barbarian of p3 to a disconnect.

Got a 58 Barb and some low level Wiz and WD. Lost a barb at 60(3)

I'm still naming my HC characters after Starks.
 
My WD is going stong, and should hit 60 soon (56 now). Now just to hope for some lucky drops or something to get the cash flow going since gear are still quite expensive!
 
Played again for the first time in a month.

Started a HC barb (I thought I had one :o), to try and get it to around lvl 30 so that if my HC lvl 30 Wiz goes down the dark road I won't rage quit :p:D
 
I'm done with hardcore for a while. My L53 monk got raped by a frozen molten mob. I killed 3 of them with one strike and subsequently got frozen, and their pops did for me :(

I think monks are extremely ill suited to HC :o Why not try a Barb?

Cos I know monks better. I'd need to roll a barb in SC and get used to the playstyle first.
