D3: High Level Char Stats

My skills are pretty much the normal build, though maybe you want to switch out fleet footed for resolve.
As for gear, you're fine for act 1, prob act 2 as well. Act 3 you'll need something to give you life back. Otherwise its the usual - dex, crit chance, crit damage, ias for DPS increases

I'm comfortably running MP5 but do too little damage for MP6. In fact MP4 is still the best way to farm for keys at the moment with my monk.

I use a different set of skills than most other monks but it just works so well. Oh and I'm trying out the Stone of Jordan ring and still deciding if I should maybe go for a different rare ring with Attack speed, Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage.

Devill, if I were you I would go with some Life on Hit. It makes such a big difference! It will keep you alive as long as you keep hitting. I see you have lifesteal but that only really works well when you do quite a bit of damage. At least that's what I read.

Great :)

Is the 2.90% HP of Damage dealt too little if I could get another for my off hand?

I know life steal vs LoH is a no go unless you are hitting about 90k+.

Also are my main skills fine or should I look to something that blinds/stuns/does something that impairs the enemies?

EDIT: thanks Solitude :) Will save up a bit and get a LoH for the off hand as well. What do you think will be the minimum needed for doing ActIII MP0?

The 2.8% lifesteal I have heals for.... roughly 1500 life per second at 75k dps, assuming I'm hitting one target. If I'm really gunning it the life per second averages around 2200. Life on hit, I have 1000, and it gives me 2000 life per second, single target. Combined its not uncommon for me to see healing numbers of 6k+. And if you factor in that healing numbers tick twice a second, I am sometimes getting 12k life per second (albeit only for half a second :p). What you must remember is that you are not doing your sheet DPS, you are doing considerably more. I worked it out to 4-6 times more on my monk. Add on AOE skills, and LS shoots through the roof

Stuns are very useful, especially for breaking the attacks of something that could one shot you. Yes, you could run away, wait for the mob to finish its swing, or you could stun (in whatever form) and get several seconds of free DPS time.

Haha, so if I am getting this right.... You are saying:" Devill, it will be fine if you get another 1-H with 2.9% Life Steal, or something with 500 LoH. Also add a stun skill as it will help with clearing things faster in general and keep you alive longer if you are not one to run away. [-] Then Devill I would like to help you do some runs so your gear can be upgraded[/-]" :p:D

Well, kind of...
Life on hit works great when your DPS isnt up to scratch. I've gotten 800 on my amulet, and called it a day (got a lucky roll on my hellfire ring for 200 more). I kept it because sometimes you dont have spirit or whatever, but you needs to get a few hits in while you are not doing your max dps.
You also need to be running the right skills, with the right gear to support them. Like Sweeping winds with cyclone wont be nearly as effective until you hit 1.6 attacks per second, and 20-25% crit chance. I know for me those cyclones are 100%+ DPS all on their own.

Just do what feels comfortable. You can easily pickup a blue amulet with 500 LoH (and nothing else) just to try it out, see if you like it more. Or keep going with just the lifesteal, turn on the healing numbers, and figure out if you double it if it will be enough for your liking

Thanks sir I will be doing a couple of test runs this week, while completing hell and just see what works better.

Sorry for all the questions but I was very lazy to crunch the numbers :o

If you test lifesteal in hell, remember that whatever healing you get will be halved in inferno

Hey guys! I have been following these D3 theads for a while now! My interwebs has been down for the past three weeks...Klein plattelandse dopies!!! We allways get the bad end of the deal!!!

Anyway my Wiz stats as on my profile...which has not updated for a loooooong time as my dps on profile is way too low!!

Armor : 3120 (Was around 4k buffed last I played)
Damage 54883.7 (last time I played was around 67k buffed)
Life 21.9k (was at about 26k)
AR at around 390 unbuffed
Int - 2172
Vit - 619
Dex - 524 (dodge chance)
Str - 500
CC -19%
Crit Dam - 95%(VERY VERY LOW)
Skilles - Electrocute(Forked Lightning)(main attack)
Hydra(Arcane)
Magic Weapon(Force weapon0
Arcande orb(tap the source)(secondary attack)
Energy Armour(Prismatic)
Diamond Skin(Crystal Skin)
Glass canon, Astral Presence and Blur

Can solo MP1(MP0 they mobs kinda like just mets away) with ALOT of kiting! Think that is due to my Crit Dam% If any of you guys can give me some tips I'd appreciate. I mostly solo, as I don't have alot time to play! Will post my battletag later...I don'y have access to bnet at work!

I might be back online this afternoon...not too sure but hoping for the best!

If I was you I wuld up Crit chance and then try perma freeze or Perma Archon as those two seem to be the "best" wiz builds around.

Will try the perma feeze build as soon as I am back online again!

Well seems like our exchanges needs to get upgraded again!!! So no internet for another 4 - 6 weeks!!! Any good mobile suggestions? No contracts!!!

Depends on how much you play. Diablo uses around 20-30MB per hour.

Thanks guys...but it seems I am going to have to wait...we don't even have decent 3G coverage or hsdpa or any good signals in the little town of Lichtenburg! :(

Thanks guys:) innas pants have been on my list but i enjoy having high HP and high res as possible and innas pants will knock my HP and res:( been contemplating them for a long time.

Ive also gotta say that ive been watching a few monks gear up including Archers and i have stolen gearing ideas from them like the Natalyas set
